Expectations!

The league is definitely a must and I believe one of the cups is achievable. So long by at least the season after next we make it to the CL group stages I'll be happy.

 

To grind the orcs into the ground

 

If we become a good team to watch and we win the league then that will do me. Any success in the cups and in Europe will be the icing on the cake. First and foremost I am excited at the prospect of seeing the brand of football Brendan Rodgers will get us playing.

 

I agree am personally willing to give him more time because I know/feel that he has all the skills deila didn't have, he is a proper manager who will change the formation and tactics within 10-20 mins if it isn't working.

Am not demanding instant success from the new manager he will need a bit of time to implement his style of play IMO

 

Win the League
Reach CL Groups or EL Groups
No too fussed about the Cups
Play more attractive, attacking football
Get rid of deadwood and make a couple of quality signings.

 

Domestic domination and CL groups + maybe last 16.

 

Winning the league playing attractive exciting football and getting into the CL group stages again.

 

win the league the celtic way and lets make every team fear having to come to Celtic Park once more.would also love to have the league wrapped up in january and hopefully brendan bring a few younger lads though to see if they can cut it just like young kieran has .it should have been done this season so hopefully find some young talent as it's definitely there just needing the right man to nurture them on .

 

6INAR, a cup, group stages of a European competition and if its the Europa League then a place in the knockout rounds would be good.

 

I think some people have to reign themselves in a bit and not expect too much. I'd be absolutely delighted if we win the league and reach the CL group stages. Anything else is a bonus.

 

The league is a must.

After that, in his first season, I just want to see a gradual but clear improvement as the season goes on and particularly in Europe. If we get knocked out of the CL early doors it'll be a sickener but if we go on some sort of a run in the EL while putting in good performances then that would also be encouraging. We should be winning a cup as well.

 

Pretty much echo this. We've done well to get a top manager in but we still have an awful lot of work to do.

Play attractive football.
Trim the squad down, and clear some of the duds out, while hopefully blooding through some youngsters.

Win the league. Smash sevco a cricket score in one of the games.
A cup would be nice.
Wee run in either of European tournaments would be bonus.

 

League - Must (Manager must walk if we lose the League)

CL - Qualification (luck of the draw but the manager only gets two cracks at it)

League Cup - Not important

Scottish Cup - Not important

 

Anyone think Rodgers going get hard time on here.
Expectation is high and everyone expect him walk the league.
I think the Huns are going push us hard this year and them not in Europe.
They be fresh and with few more signing they could well win it.
They have settle manager and Rodgers be trying get players on his style football.
It take time for Rodgers to find his best team and with extra games we be playing.
We going drop points.

 

Roy Rodgers could beat Sevco to the title with the state of the current two squads. Easily as well. Ronnie would have struggled however.

 

I you could guarantee me the group stages of the CL or the Treble I'd take the CL in a heartbeat.

Does anyone think than with decent intestment a europa league final could be a future prospect

 

Of course it's not out of our reach but it would only be a possibility in one of our peak years where all the squad fall into place like lennons 2012-13 season or Strachan's 2006-07 team and we'd have to get a wee bit of luck aswell.
