Ex Celts you hate..

None just Miller, the rest from my era were fine. Why is everyone hating on Sutton?

 

I think due to his criticism on BT Sports last years

This is the point I tried to make earlier, Sutton is a top guy.

 

I can only really think of two off the top of my head. Maurice Johnston and Kenny Miller.

I'm really none too keen on Leigh Griffiths either though I have to admit. I would rather we'd never signed him.

There have been many players who I haven't liked as footballers - Paul Telfer, Georgios Samaras, Glenn Loovens etc - but I wouldn't say I hated them. Hate is too strong a word.

 

I loved Boruc , think some peoples noses are out of joint because he sided with Legia.

 

What or who was he criticising?

 

Ronny, the team, the board probably too. To be fair to Sutton it was when we were struggling last year but when we picked ourselves up a bit and started playing well he admitted he was wrong and Ronny was starting to get a good team together

 

Ah right, cheers for the information. I loved him as a player, got really fond memories of him so was just really surprised to see people say they 'hate' him but I suppose it's the fickle nature of fans.

 

I don't 'hate' McNamara, but I did lose a lot of respect for him after his comments that the old Rangers shouldn't be stripped of their tainted titles.

Bearing in mind it was the supporters at the time who had been ploughing their hard earned money into what was has subsequently transpired to have been financially-rigged football competitions, I don't think it was right for an ex-player to come out and show a complete disregard to those same supporters who have been cheated out of their cash.

I can't help but think if someone was to tell Jackie and some of his former teammates that there could be a possibility of recouping some of their lost win bonuses then he wouldn't have been so quick to dismiss the idea of stripping cheats of their ill-gotten gains!

 

When did he admit he was wrong?

I must have missed it cos I sure as * never heard him say it, or read it anywhere in one of his columns.

As far as I'm aware he just changed his opinion overnight and expected everybody to forget he ever said anything. Fair enough the guys entitled to his opinion and he's got the right to change that anytime he wishes but he was the only one who I know of that never (as far as I'm aware) admited he was wrong.

I don't hate Sutton by the way. The problem I do have however is the things he was saying about Deila winning the treble and all the other * because not once did i ever hear him say any of those things when Lenny was in charge. If your going to be a pundit you have to give your honest opinions and you can't have one rule for one person and another for someone else just because your friends

I will say I hate Craig Burley though..... And I must say, as much as it pains it... I strongly dislike Chris Sutton

 

If they are then they are knobs. He is a Legia man ffs. They are a far smaller club than us. Even though they nearly deserved what happened to them over their own stupidity they have a legitimate claim to being hard done by. If the same thing happened to us then I would be raging, the guy was only on the field for a few minutes and played no part in their sporting victory.

I think we have every right to criticise Chris Sutton...For years I idolised the man, followed him, spent a lot of money to watch him..

for him to throw it back in my face, by publicly criticising Ronny, me and my fellow supporters whilst making money doing it!

So yes, I can say I don't like him, probably swaying more to the hate side.

 

Kenny Miller - no-one else comes close. Probably my generations Mo Johnston (though not as bad obviously)

 

Willo Flood is the one who comes to mind straight away.
