Everton in for Brown

The Brown out Honda in deal sounds very nice.

 

Surely if Mogga is to agree to let Broony go then he must have a replacement in mind ?? This guy is very good in the transfer market and is well respected so a lot of players want to play for him..... I wouldnt let him go for anything below £8M (not that I think he's worth that)

If we were going to sell him we should have sold him long before now so we had a chance to bring in a replacement. I can't see any of the 1st team leaving as Mowbray won't have time to get a replacement, unless he has someone in mind that we don't know about. We've got an important match on sunday so i don't think anyone will leave before then and there won't be much time after the game to sell and buy.

 

Not sure about this one. 8m would be a good deal for sure but how can we get a replacement with the transfer window closing in a few days

 

A replacement will be easy to get in. I dont see a problem with a loan from England. Maybe O'Hara from spurs or Dos Santos. There are lots of players out there that clubs are looking to offload its just finding the right 1 who will do the job for Celtic. If it is Brown who will be leaving then we need an attacking Midfielder but to be honest from what I seen last night I would give Willo Flood a shot at that role. When I saw him passing the ball making forward runs through the middle he reminded me of Ireland from Man City. Give him a run of games see how he gets on. Also get Gomis in from Dundee Utd as back up then less money spent huge amount in.

Looks like Donati is off too. Bari I think are in discussions with Celtic

 

the thing is having missed out on the champions league money how much of the 8 mill would we even get to bring someone else in ? i wouldnt take any less than 10 i was a big fan of broony last year this year he doesnt seem to look as good its early days hes just back from an injury so i suppose he wont be 100% sharp but remember the player of last season guys 8 mill is just not enough for us .

 

brown is never worth 10 million. we got like 8 for petrov and he was twice as good as brown will ever be. 6 million is a fair valuation for scott brown but i think with a good bit of business we might be able to salvage some other clauses pushing the deal up to 8 million.

 

I doubt he will go now. Maybe in January depending on if we're in/out of Europe.

 

I would take £7million. He is a good player but in my opinion hides too much against the big teams

i would wan 12 but settle for 10 the amount of money there paying for lesser players and there goin to offer 6 million no chance

I dont think their is any chance of moyes making a bid for brown its all just a load of * from the papers again the same as Mc Manus moving to ipswich or mcgeady to spurs,donati to bari,flood to d/u,hinkel to hull, the list could go on and on and all without any direct quotes from a decent source if the papers were correct we would'nt have a * team to put on the park ffs.

 

Sorry guys just think he has never lived up to his price tag so if we are offered good money we should jump at it, just look at last night he spent most of it trying start fights, not once did he play a meaningful pass, overrated and overpriced so hopefully some stupid moneybag epl team pay us silly money :bbpd:
