Ever hated a player now or then?

I really dont know how I would hate a player if I dont know them personally, and I will always support any player wearing the green and white, that being said I may hate the way they are playing or the fact that they are on the pitch despite having no footballing ability whatsoever aka, Brown, Telfer, Beattie, Virgo and Riordan

 

Derek Riordan, he thought he was good, but was completely * with a * attitude to match. Always hated how the commentators would say "he can hit them" when standing over a freekick, when 99 times out of 100 he wouldn't get close (same for Maloney, although I don't hate him).

I understand someone with fight is necessary a lot of the time but Scott Brown is not the answer. Landry N'Guemo was a better overall player.

Nigel De Jong , Makalele , Song , Busquets , even gattuso just to name a few off the top of my head are guys who play that role. They can play football as well.

 

Surprised that people still don't like Brown,I thought he proved himself this season and when he was out for a bit it showed that the team missed him.
One of my favourite players,and not because he snarls and can be aggressive,I just think he brings something and is always,always doing his best for the team.

i dont hate any player that wears the hoops .

However people like craig burley , annoy me rotten. Hes making a living out of taking wee pops at celtic with his * journalism. For a club that paid his wages years ago , he should have a bit more respect .

 

I disliked Scott Mcdonald, he was the biggest moaning git I had the misfortune of seeing in a celtic shirt. I never rated him as a player either, he always looked like a league one player to me, he only scored the number of goals he did because we made so many chances for him. I also thought in the end that he took playing for Celtic for granted, he was talking about playing in England as soon as he had a bit of success at the club. Now he's at Boro playing in front of 11,000 if he's lucky enough to be in the team, I knew he would not be a success down there and i wouldn't be suprised if he ended up playing for Brentford or Port Vale, I bet he regrets leaving Celtic big time.


Yeah i guess i still can't forgive the way he celebrated those two goals against us on Black sunday.

 

and the fact he just stood off him and let him take the shot dnt get why we kept doin that under strachan really annoying

Don't know what the general consensus is on Paolo di Canio, but I cannot stomach him.
He has great skill - he showed during his "stop over" at Celtic, but I cannot bring myself to like someone with such fascist beliefs.

 

No respect for the fash * now.

 

There has been loads over the years that haven't been fit to wear the hoops, e.g., Scott McDonald, Regi Blinker, Rafael Scheidt, Bobby Petta, both Fortunes, Ian Wright, Juniniho, and many more.

I wouldn't say I hated any of them though.

Two that stick out like a sore Thumb would be Davie Proven and Craig Burley, Every other past player has at least something good to say about our club. There is something bitter with both of them that goes beyond constructive criticism.

Oh yes 2 names mentioned here I agree with, Scott McDonald and Craig Burley. McDonald was a lazy moan who one season and scored a lot of goals, but he was never, ever any good. Also, he was over the moon when he cost us the league on the last day of the season, I think whoever he joined he was going to claim to have "supported" all his life.

And Craig Burley...well, listen to him for 5 minutes and you'll know why.

 

Burley is just bitter after being sold for being the alleged "mole" in the dressing room. He was allegedely making money from the media well before he finished playing. There were also rumours about Scott Mcdonald links with one particular Daily Record journo.

 

Caldwell is a * liability.
