I’m intrigued by this draw, can we say they are any stronger sqaud wise than Anderlecht?.

I’m not so sure their winter break will help us that much, they may be a bit rusty but there is every chance our squad could be as equal fatigued if most of our senior players can’t get a break unless their injured.

I’d fancy us to qualify in all honesty but it’s obviously gonna * collapsing stuff away from home when we are defending a 3 goal lead

Can’t say I know anything about Russian football but SM are 3rd and took a fair tanking off Liverpool. Wonder how much is it between top Russians sides and Celtic. Do the Russians still spend a hoora money on players?

Would've preferred to have played Salzburg or Plzen but I'll take it, looking at the draw there's quite a few big hitters in there , eg Atletico, Milan, Napoli. The competition looks much stronger in general compared to previous seasons.

 

I'd take Bitton at CB over Boyata judging on his performances since he has come back

 

They shouldn't be though if aberdeen were better prepped for away tie in Cyprus could have been a different story if hibs get second I think they might get groups next season Lennon is that good a manager

Zenit just drew nil nil away at some mid table mob whilst Lokomotiv won 3-1 away. Almost killing their title chances stone dead..

Hopefully good news for us as they're third and have a real domestic battle on as third and out of a title challenge by Christmas can't be what the Zenit owners had in mind bringing in name's like Mancini and the talent they have..

 

Going by recent results celtic have a very good record against Russian teams their tv deal is better than ours but nothing astronomical their top teams are backed by oil and Gazprom hence how they are paying 23 million for paredas
