Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
No doubt there’ll be loads of clubs looking at that keeper

It's like a funeral. Absolute joke. Thought that maybe at least in the North it's a bit better but there's nothing left of a good atmosphere in England.

Parking the bus though never deserves a point. Even if I hoped for a draw

Sometimes can be a bit dodgy just judging a player by one game, but surely someone will come in for that keeper after that? Maybe not a top team, but in a stronger league than Cyprus.

See Ferencvaros have won their EL Group and guaranteed to be in the last 16 of the tournament as have USG that they beat.

It seems a strange EL this year half the groups are decent and then the other half are probably weaker than a lot of the Conference League groups.

I think having been in the CL this year has helped me realise just how tough our EL group was last year. Betis (who have also guaranteed Last 16 as group winners) Bayer Leverkusen who are in the CL and Ferencvaros (group winners this year). Given we got 9 points in that group and we’re close to getting more, it does really make me think hard about whether we have improved in Europe or not this year.

I think we've improved. The difference is we've been less clinical. Score even half the chances we've created and we've topped our group which is a mental feat. It's all ifs and buts, however the stats show not once was we dominated just * unlucky imo. Europe used to be sit back and hope for a corner or give samaras the ball and try sneak a win. I'd have how we play now over any of that. We're on our way and imo keep the team with 1 or 2 real qaulity additions and we will do big things.

i totally agree I would rather try take teams on and play this way than sit in and hope to hit on the break. When I mean I am not sure if we have improved or how much we have improved I am just think last season and this one.

On the clinical point there is no doubt this has been a major contributor but I do think we are still naive in our press and our game management is still poor.

I think we still lose very similar types of goals and they tend to be pretty cheap.

The game against Shakhtar the other night at half time, I think we could have done two things that would have significantly nullified their threat.

The first would have been sub Abada for Maeda, we brought Maeda on to help Juranovic in Poland and Mudryk wasn’t in the second half. It might not have had the same effect but Abada was offering very little. Second we didn’t need to commit so many people ahead of the ball we were winning, they hadn’t created much other than a quick break just before half time.

The general play in games has probably improved but we do need to minimise the amount of naive and poor decision making that we make in games. I don’t know how we do this probably a combination of psychology and training situations that mirror those as best possible; and/ or bring in some further quality to the team.
