There’s nothing better than watching wingers go at players with pace and skill.

See so little of it now in football.

Jesus Navas man. * sake. Remember him starring for my CM4 Real Betis side as a 20yo wonder kid 20 odd year ago.

Cucurella been immense too, didn't think I'd ever hear myself saying that.

Sorry for quoting myself. I just wanted to clarify that I had just found out how jammy England were and wasn't having some bizarre moan about Spain (who I hope win the thing).

Will be game of the tournament no doubt. Still, winner will likely play Portugal or France in the semi which will be class. It's the other side of the draw that's the problem...

    He's incredible mate..

Doing mental things for someone his age..

Aye it's probably the best to watch I've ever seen. Isn't maybe as good as some of their sides but even the tiki taka types they've had and been successful with, they weren't as good to watch for me..

    They're a joy to watch..

Been the biggest surprise of the tournament for me, was not expecting them to be this good. Can't wait for the quarter against Germany.

According to the BBC it was a close game with Georgia pushing Spain all the way and giving a great account of themselves.. I couldn't watch the match, was it that close?

Messi is the greatest player in the history of the game for me. I think he scored 92 goals in a calendar year at one point. I watch Barca all the time and for years every single time he got the ball you expected him to score or set up a goal. It didn't feel like real life.

Think Germany will beat them. They looked lethal on the counter and Spain looked suspect at dealing with just that.

Aye, I did love watching guys like Xavi and Iniesta but the passing to death gets a bit boring, same as Man City now. This team is more akin to the Bayern Munich team under Jupp Heynckes I would say. So good going forward, especially down the wings.

Aye, there will never be another Messi. Best passer, vision, dribbler, finisher, free-kick taker, long-range shooter in the world. Playmaker and goalscorer, leader. He is an anomaly.
