I remember going on a cruise several years back during the world cup and things didn't get off to a good start as they wanted to take pictures of passengers standing in front of the St. George's flag just as they were about to embark the ship. All the bars were covered in flags and they even had special dress nights were everyone had to dress up in anything english football team orientated with the winner getting a prize. The england games were put on a loop in all the bars and the few non english passengers including myself went to customer services to complain however they just told us to join in the "festivaties". Anyway, there was a few burly Welsh guys who I had gotten to know and we were having a laugh cheering on the opposition one night and let out a cheer when the english got knocked out and an almighty rammy then broke out causing a bit of damaged. Luckily enough my good lady hauled me away from it all. Several english guys and a few women were papped off the ship. Strangely enough, the live football was taken off the tv even though there was still a few games left to be played

 

Yeah like I said, drink, English football fans and me and some of my mates don't mix wellthe pubs also down the red-light district... it's a recipe for disaster, I'll make a decision tomorrow ha.. my Scottish mates bought moody Spain taps for anyone that wants them too

 

Unless there's another stitch up with the ref Spain win.

Wee lad's Spain kit ironed, mass to say a few prayers to Saint Manuel Miguez Gonzalez, heading to the shops to get stuff for Paella, some patatas Bravas, some Spanish beers, jumping into Sports Direct on the way home to get a Spain top for myself, jump home for a quick siesta then watch a bit of zorro.

Tapas already prepped yesterday.

My in-laws are up here for the weekend as we've just had a baby, and her Da is asking where I'm watching the game. Told him I'm no watching it and he just can't get his head round it

Think today's game wont go the way some hope. Can see Spain battering them. Wave after wave of attack. Cross bar, post, offside, the lot. 93rd minute little England will venture out their box and poke it in. Another dull game, another win.

I'm going away with some English mates to Majorca in a couple of weeks. Depending on the result, I'll either have to listen to their nonsense all holiday or I'm turning up to the airport in my Olmo shirt and won't take it off until I'm back in the house.
