    I liked the Greeks. They made no bones about the fact they had no stars and ground it out.

    Portugal on the other hand, dire all tournament.

    Nah at least with Greece you had the underdog story and the surprise of it all, with all their talent this is where Portugal should be, they have just been so * and conservative that no one predicted it

    Meh, not bothered about Murray. At least he's a good player and deserved to win.

    Portugal on the other hand............

    Not sure what the difference is really. Greece played negatively and relied on set pieces or breakaways to win the tournament and Portugal have just done exactly the same. It's bad for football when teams with that outlook get rewarded.

    I've enjoyed it tbf. A lot of really tactical battles. Games don't have to be end to end goalfests to be good. Not that there couldn't have been a bit more excitement, but overall I've liked seeing unfancied teams do well. Iceland in particular.

    It's a shame that boring football gets rewarded as much as it does but that's the way it is. Things like discipline, strong organization, work-rate and patience are skills in themselves but by * it doesn't half make a team boring to watch and isn't great for the neutrals like me.

    Wanted France to win for that reason as at least they have a go and try to score goals, but Portugal were too strong defensively which was a shame as it killed the game as a spectacle. It did for me anyway. Ah well.

    Not a tournament that I'll remember and glad that it's over. There wasn't many games that held my attention for too long but that's probably partly down to me getting bored with football in general as well as this tournament not being great to watch.
