Barely watched anything of the Ukraine game or this one.

Mental how every game has been 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 or 1-1 looks like theres more chance of a 0-0 than a 3-0.

Can't believe I thought there'd be 5 goals in this game.

It's unbelievable how there's been 17 games (if I'm not mistaken) and the highest margin of victory has been 2 goals.

Anyone else think that increasing the number of teams hasn't been the greatest idea? It's been pretty dire stuff for the most part.

    It's stupid.

Even worse is the fact that 4 teams that finish 3rd will go through. * madness.

It's a crazy statistic for the early round of tournament football.

Worse than increasing the teams is giving 3rd the chance of making the next round. This has made the draw a more acceptable point and effectively nullified the reason for increasing the points for a win to 3

The format of the tournament really isn't conducive to good football. Think the knockouts will be interesting even if just to see which teams shine because there's been a lot of uninspiring football from the more favoured teams.

Is that anything to do with the number of teams though? I mean Poland and Germany would be in it regardless and this hasn't produced any drama. I'm just hoping the next round will be amazing once teams have settled in.

A draw tonight will almost certainly see both teams go through with a game still to play.

I've really enjoyed it so far. Love seeing unfancied nations doing well. There will always be a high scoring game or two at some point. I like close games cus both teams are in it till the end. You want goals but not to see a team steam rolling someone. Saying that, when we do it to the likes of Motherwell it's brilliant. As a neutral though you want a proper contest and I'd say we've had that.

I enjoy it being a contest when it's end to end with chances and saves. That hasn't happened.

The games are all cagey as * with either one team sitting back defending or two teams just playing *.

I'd said it a few days ago about the altered format.

The qualification process meant so many extra teams go through. Plus the fact that 3rd placed teams can go through has changed the mentality of so many teams in the group stages.

Teams are desperate not to get beaten, and looking to nick a win somewhere to get them into the knockouts, which they'll deem a success.
