Rooney has something special to pull out the bag at times and is alot better than welbeck, Rooney was vital for the penalties as well.

 

Everyone but Francethey matched them in the group, take them out for holland.

England were outclassed for nearly the whole match the Italians deserved to go through and it would have been a tragedy if they didnt.It makes me question the pay packets these England players receive for their clubs because none of them are worth anywhere near the amount they get per week....

 

He was poor and was the last game aswell Welbeck was far better and didnt do much.

 

Forgot about Holland as well.

Still think France are far ahead of them, there game was a typical opening game very, very cagey.

 

He wasn't 100% yet he scored against Ukraine he can play bad and still score he's vital to the England team.

No coincidence that it was England who served up the first 0-0 draw of the entire tournament. Boring, anti-football yet again from an English side, only this time, it was the national team.

Justice was done tonight. Pirlo is a beast.

 

To be quite honest it would have been an absolute travesty if we got into the competition over the czech's the best thing happened in that respect. As a nation we have to start looking to better ourselves and maybe expect a bit better instead of taking to the streets to celebrate a 3-2 loss, it's embarrassing.

Regarding the game I think the time has past now for England to win anything for awhile, they had the potential back in 02,04 etc.. but now the only 2 real class players that they have are Rooney, Gerrard and Cole and even the last 2 should be retiring soon and there's no one of any true class to replace them, and it was evident tonight Pirlo ran the show and England barely left their own half in the 2nd.

They were poor through the whole tournament they are like england they create very little, england finished above them as well mind. Getting humped from Sweden porves it. I'd say they are about the same in terms of quality as england there isn't much between them imo.
