    I quite agree with that combined team of yours, but i really think torossidis would easily deserve a spot in it... You probably don't know him well, but since i m greek and i know a couple of things about the team, hes the best greek player along with the likes of k.papadopoulos..

    And although you might think i m a nutter, my opinion is he's better than Piszczek.. (no prejudices at all here, i might even say i like ireland more than my own national team, just saying..) :celt_2::celt_2:

    Russia and Greece will qualify out of the group. Like Ukraine, Poland are gash and would be nowhere near the tournament if they had to qualify. The czech's were pretty luck to go through aswell, so I can't see them getting out of the group.

    Of all of the 4 groups this is the most wide open by a mile

    I don't know how you've come to that conclusion, obviously if they were in a tough group I doubt Poland would have qualified but they are better than several teams who managed it including the Czechs, the Irish, and the Greeks imo. Poland haven't played a competetive game in two years so the only thing they can be judged on is friendlies and over the last year they've got some impressive results.

    I think the Czechs will win the group with Russia in second place most of the teams in the group are closely matched though....

    really tight group to predict, every team is capable of beating eachother, and none of them stick out.

    i think it will be russia and czech republic to qualify, im just not quite sure on which order! .. might even go to a tiebreaker ...
