    That is good news, ESPN HD is pretty good.

    Setanta were advertising it, at the tail end of last season but we know what happened there.

    Reading it they are only showing the British teams' home games so imagine the away games are bidded for so would imagine BBC would get that.

    As I explained on a previous thread this is the rights previously held by Setanta.
    The rights are now split between ITV4, Channel 5 & ESPN.

    great cauz i hav bt vision that gave you setanta as a sweetener if you took , then we all know wot happened there, just checked the old setanta channel last week, and av now got espn and the game coverage and picture is way better:icon_mrgreen:

    If anything we'll be first choice, they'll want the biggest amount of viewers and out of the 3 clubs we'd give them the most.

    Five have first pick out of Everton, Fulham and Celtic.

    They have been advertising that they have first pick and hinted that they are likely to broadcast all of Evertons matches.

    This leaves the second picks between ESPN and ITV4 they are likely to share the Fulham and Celtic matches between them.

    Got to say BT Vision is very good value. Costs peanuts but not only do you get a certain amount of live SPL games but you get to see all the ones they dont show live free on the Bt Vision on-demand function a few hours later. THey also have the same live and on demand facilities for a chunk of EPL games and I think German too. Now we will also be seeing nome Europa games too through BT Visions having ESPN and I would guess they will have more of them delayed on demand. Maybe get the odd one on ITV4 and channel 5 too. So you get a lot of football for peanuts on BT Vision. You also get huge amount of on demand films, music, sport, TV you missed etc. There is a digital recorder box that I think is better than SKY's. I would recommend it. All you need is BT Broadband and an aerial that can handle digital. You can bundle your phone, broadband and BT vision too to get it even cheaper. Under the old system where you needed to pay for SKY and also setanta, it could cost stupid money a year, possibly nealry a grand if you got everything on SKY. BT vision is a very tiny fraction of that. I sound like a salesman but I really want BT Vision to work and to weaken SKY's stranglehold which I think has ruined football.
