One damning stat doing the rounds after full-time was that the Brazilian was dribbled past eight times in the game - the most for any player in a Premier League game this season.

The 32-year-old impressed in his first season at Old Trafford, but has struggled for form this season.

Carragher, said: “I think Casemiro should know tonight that he should only have another three games left at the top level. The next two league games and the cup final, then he should be thinking, I need to go to the MLS or Saudi.

"This has to stop because we are watching one of the greats of the modern time. I always remember the saying 'leave the football before the football leaves you'. The football has left him. At this top level, he needs to call it a day at this level and move.

"The level of that player, he should not be putting himself through this. He is too good of a player to be putting in a performance like that being laughed at by Crystal Palace. He needs to call it a day.

I think that every club in EPL should sue FA for not hurrying up and punishing Man City for the 115 charges. They should be banned from European football for 15 seasons (length of time they cheated the system) .
Should be thrown out of EPL and dropped 5pts for every charge.
Edit: This would drop them to National League South and give them 10pts deduction for following season.

 

They’ll get away with it. They gave the most expensive lawyers and accountants money can by and fighting it every stage of the way, what they’ve done is too hard to prove. The other teams that have got sanctions all freely admitted to it, and didn’t have anything to hide behind.

City’s is all behind sponsorship deals etc. that needs to be proven is not worth the money and covert piling funds into them. Which it * is, but proving that is something they can’t actually do. And actively hurts their league if they somehow manage to do it.

1985/86, Hearts 3 clear of Celtic with 5 games to go, Hearts beat the huns.
1984/85 Aberdeen 5 clear of Celtic with 5 games to go, Aberdeen beat the huns.
1982/83 Dundee Utd 3 clear of Celtic with 8 games to go, Dundee Utd beat the huns.
1981/82 Celtic 2 points clear of Aberdeen, last game of the season Aberdeen pump the huns 4-0, they also played Aberdeen with 5 games to go and got beat 3-1.

It's interesting really that when Celtic have been in title races with another team they've always beat the huns in the run in every single time, although the huns were * then but they were also probably wanting to get beat.

1982 was basically a Love Street 1986 scenario, where Aberdeen had to beat the huns 5-0 and hope Celtic lost to win it on goal difference. Celtic were drawing 0-0 at HT and Aberdeen were 4-0 up against the huns at HT but Celtic came out and won 3-0.

 

They’re not even in the title race though,and they’ve still a European place to consider.They need to win every game.It’s genuinely retarded imo.
