Tierney’s got chocolate hips. We were pumping painkilling injections in to him at the age of 21 to play Aberdeen and St Johnstone for * sake.

Nobody with hundreds of millions is going anywhere near him. Poor * will break down in bits before he’s 30.

He's been fit for the majority of this season. He's just not been playing.

Arteta plays a right back at left back over him. He’s third choice.

Guy is 25 and moves like an old guy at times. We absolutely ruined him. To think some of our fans had the cheek to moan when he took the move to Arsenal.

Where is the evidence of us ruining him? Im not saying it's not true, but never seen any discussions about it while he was here?

Did we force him to play against his will or something?

There were mentions of it at the time, we basically played him because there was no suitable cover at left back. I think it probably is true. He wouldn't have been forced to play but would have done as he loved the club.

Not really the clubs fault then.

One thing I’ve always said about KT is, he should have took better care of himself while he was here. Put his body through a lot for the club, when he could have took a back seat at times.

He played at Tynecastle and Pittodre with osteitis pubis when Rodgers left and Lennon took over. Taking painkilling injections in his early 20s to play in the SPL.

Unforgiveable really. Obviously it’s impossible to force someone to play but he was definitely encouraged and guilt tripped in to playing.

How our medical staff sanctioned this is baffling to me.

Nah, people should take care of their employees. Having decent back up and allowing players to recover should have been part of that. He would also have been coerced into it. His injuries are heavily on us.

I think I worded it a a bit wrong. Of course we have a duty to our players health and well-being. But the players also need to know their limits.

I don’t disagree his injuries are heavily on us but it could have been worked on and managed better by both parties at the time.

Class finish but that Tomiyasu had looked poor from the start.
