Guess it helps having Messi and the likes before, have to say he's a brilliant manager but wouldn't class him near the top managers of yesteryear, if it wasn't too that Barca team pep is kinda just another good manager.

Probably in the likes of a Mourinho and Ancelotti, as someone who achieves more with what they have at their disposal.

Man Utd are the big winners this weekend. I certainly wouldn’t count them out of being title challengers.

They’ll become more and more cohesive under Ten Haag as well, although Casemiro out for three games is a bad one to take.

Arsenal will implode and Man City look dog * in comparison to recent years.

I think it's too late for United, although you'd expect them to get 6 from 6 as both their next games are against Leeds. Then home to Leicester. Next season I think they will be challenging.
I think Casemiro has gotten away lightly with a 3 match ban, having your hands round a guys neck is disgraceful.

It might be too late, but Arsenal still have to play Man City twice.

Two draws in those games and they’re laughing. Plus Man Utd don’t need to play either of them again.

I don't think the issues are as deep at City as they are at Liverpool - but they similar to the extent that its clear their squads need a bit of freshening up.

Liverpool certainly need it more than City right now as Liverpool are a joke this season.

But I don't buy this idea that City is somehow worse with Halaand, not at all, they just need new fresh players in as bizarrely their recruitment for the entire squad overall has been sub par...pretty much letting go two of their main LBs in Zinchenko and Cancelo (despite how their form might have been leading to their sales) just as a example.

Getting stripped of 3 titles according to their boards.

Maybe they can use the Sevco defence.

Ange to Leeds is 100% a move you could see happening but hope to * it doesn't of course. He could work wonders with them and plays a style of football their fans love.
Think he'll be here for a couple more cracks at CL tbh.

Not sure they have the players for it. Ange came in at a time where loads of players left, bringing in plenty in player sales, so was able to recruit loads of players that fit his system. Also luckily had 2 full backs who suddenly flourished in his system.
Ange would have to come in and deal with what is already on offer. If he kept them up and that's an if he would likely get money to improve.

Why don’t Man City just offer the “We Are The People” defence and then no-one can touch them?

They'd have a squad for the championship that would be pretty much intact. Not many of their players are gonna be poached by more established prem teams or abroad for that matter. Harrison to Leicester the only one that looked likely in Jan.

He'd do well at any club with a budget bigger than us let's be honest, and Leeds has the sort of history that would appeal to him, but even still can't see it happening right now anyway.
