One of the more surreal things I have seen at the football was been sat in a Kebab shop in St Pauli fairly pished and these Villareal fans come in and try to order their food in German and the woman behind the counter saying "FFS just order it in English will ya !?"

This was during one of those Celtic/St Pauli weekends and a few Villareal fans came over.

 

Off-Topic:
Sturm Graz has a fan-friendship with Karlsruher SC (KSC) from Germany. Most of the game a handful of KSC-fans are on the stand when Sturm is playing. Nice guys. The strongest connection in Austria with foreign clubs has Rapid; their fans support Panathinaikos, Ferencvaros and Nürnberg and reverse. Big thing.

 

What the *. I thought I had a steal picking Chelsea in the goals comp as they had the best GD last year in the prem. Now they lose to Arsenal and * Burnley?

Chelsea have got themselves into a right mess. No idea what's happening with Costa, Conte not happy with the board and players seem to be losing the plot. This is reminiscent of the 15/16 season with Mourinho in charge where they completely imploded the season after winning the title. It's weird though because it's not like they haven't invested a lot of money, I guess Conte just sees what the two Manchester clubs have done this summer and he feels he needs to be backed more significantly so that Chelsea can stay ahead. It looks at the moment like they'll find behind the two Manchester clubs.

Liverpool also seem in a strange situation. They've tried for Keita and Van Dijk all summer, then all of a sudden Barca want Coutinho and he hands in a transfer request. What could have been an excellent summer from Liverpool could end up being a disastrous one.

Arsenal don't really look much different to last season, can score a lot will concede a good few too. If they went out and signed Van Dijk and maybe someone like Schmeichel then they'd look so much stronger at the back. Instead they stick with their average CB's yet again and have a well past it Cech in goals.

City weren't spectacular today but you can see they have a some team now, look a lot better and more well structured which should help them defensively. Walkers, Danilo and Mendy all class signings and Ederson's probably an upgrade on Bravo, while Jesus will get a full season this time. Think it's probably their year.

 

I was impressed with De Bruyne his first touch on the ball is amazing to watch, Walker has a huge amount of pace as well and Kompany is just so good. I think once City get into their rythum I don't see anyone catching them. Brighton were awful just long ball tactics, Bruno still got it though. Me a Celtic fan was sat next to two Polish lads with City scarves on in the Brighton home end today one of the only clubs you can get away with that Brighton fans are mostly hooray Henrys, they were also getting out sung by the Man City away section.

 

Fabregas should get hammered by the FA for his dissent there. 2 correct decisions by the ref and he acts like a spoilt brat. Football really needs to get that * out the game.
