Yes I do...and its a red card everyday for gordon and mane form my point of view.

 

The F.A. rules regarding dangerous play;

• Reckless is when a player acts with disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, an opponent and must be cautioned

 

Carragher saying Mane should slow down he's through on goal going for the ball it's not that easy

 

It wouldn't make a difference. It's down to the referee making either a bad call or a good call.

To say Mane's was "never" a red card is just silly. His eyes were on the ball, but that means * all. It was dangerous.

• serious foul play - I'd say kicking a player in the head because your foot is studds up and 5 foot in the air is serious foul play

• violent conduct
• using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
• receiving a second caution in the same match

 

No way should he of slowed down. He looked favourite almost all the way..

The Gordon, and most goalkeeping one's don't stand up as in some of those instances, like Gordon on Irvine, he's stopping a goalscoring opportunity..

 

Funny how Sutton is saying it isn't yet when Gordon does it's a straight red

 

Ederson's so lucky he's escaped serious injury, don't like to see stuff like that in the game. I feel the safety of players still isn't taken seriously in the game so it was good to see Mane being punished on this occasion.

Like saying Gabriel Jesus' offside goal should've stood because Ronaldo scored a few offside goals in last seasons CL.

Why do you keep bringing up other incidents to make a point? That has * all relevance. The ref in that game was wrong not to punish Stockley.

Straight red seems fair enough to me, simply for it being studs in the face. I know there was no maliciousness from Mane and he had to go for the ball, However if I done that on a sunday * would be wanting me to get 3 month nevermind a red haha.

 

It was reckless not intentional and they are defined differently by the FA.

Serious foul play using excessive force is a red.

Reckless dangerous play is a caution.

I'd say it was reckless.
