Looks like one but isn't. Went to state schools and his dad is a Galway man.
He seems a decent lad and as professional as they come.
A lot of the hate comes from the fact he's a goal machine. At least he's not a proper * like Shearer.

He's the kid who wears a captains armband to the park for a kickabout and constantly shouts "pass, pass!!!".

Mental. What did they expect him to do ? He probably did everything you would have expected him to do.

Allardyce and Moyes out on the same * day, good time for clubs to start burying bad news perhaps.

Got to the point where he was actively trolling the Everton fans, talking about how he had them on side and all about his plans for next season. Then the club started discretely briefing that there were in fact no plans in place for next season... not the most subtle hint that he was off.

Presumably he pockets next year's salary, or at least he will until he gets a new club. Feet up till the next firefighter job comes up.

I don’t see the problem tbh. Any half decent manager would have kept them up. They were 13th when he took over so it’s not as if it was some miraculous rescue job he did.

They played miserable football under him. And he didn’t help himself with his comments.

Mr Fawlty is correct. Sam will be happy enough. Thinks he’s done an amazing job, pockets plenty of money and he’ll have another desperate club phoning him in 6 months time.

Jim White blowing smoke up his * on Sky the other day was a cringe fest, totally agree with you especially given how weak the teams outside the top 4 or 5 have been.

Yeah it’s hardly an achievement finishing 8th in that league.

Burnley went through a spell of 12 games without a win, and they still finished 7th.

They were 13th but at the start of last season they were talking about top 4! so had greatly underachieved. The problem for me is you know what you get with Sam ( and I don't particularly like or dislike him) but you can't employ him and then start moaning about his style of football.

If you don't want a team playing the Big Sam way don't give Big Sam the job. Simple as that.

I know he will be happy enough but it is just stupid from Everton and they will probably give the job to some other * give him bout 2 months then when he fails to live up to expectations move onto the next guy.

The trolling bit is probably fair enough and I am sure he doesn't give a * but I'm not sure Everton aren't getting exactly what they deserve.

I think their big mistake was not doing due diligence on Koeman and thinking he was the big name guy to transform the club. Allardyce actually turned them down when they approached him and offered him a deal through to the end of the season, they never wanted him long term but he managed to squeeze an extra year out of them when they got scared about how they were doing with Unsworth in charge.

I think this was always on the cards tbh, Moshiri has the cash to burn and I doubt Allardyce was naive enough to think that the club wouldn't pursue other options. Him kicking off about how the club have handled it reads like an image management thing on his part, even if there is a bit of truth to it.
