Hilarious how raging some people get about Mourinho.

If that was an Italian team the performance would be getting lauded :giggle1:

If it was an Italian team who had spent half a billion quid on players the past few years it wouldn't.

It was more grit than beauty. Man Utd scored on both shots on goals and were more interested in building a wall around their box than doing anything football related. They got the victory but were absolutely dreadful to watch. Mourinho is an anti-football manager.

    Aye it would.

We’d be hearing about how it was ‘typical italians’ and the master s of the dark arts patter.

Can see why there’s a bit of hype around that McTominay, glad he chose Scotland since he’s the type of player we’ll need with Broony retiring.
Solid defensively and confident on the ball, not the same kinda dig and aggression as Broony but a lot of potential.

    Hmm, not for me.

I think if Juventus and Napoli were spending the same amount of money that United spend and just parked the bus against the top teams at home they'd be getting stick as well. Nobody likes to see that.

Having said that, it's worse for United. They are a club that has had a certain type of football throughout it's history. Fast, exciting, attacking football. Yes the fans will be delighted with the result, but seeing them sit back against Liverpool at Old Trafford for an hour wont be appreciated too much.

    I've hated him since Seville.

He's one of the few non-Huns I actually detest.

Agree with this, especially in the big games, don't think any of the 70 odd thousand United fans inside Old Trafford gave a * about how "entertaining" the performance was as they beat their rivals with one of their local lads getting both the goals. I'm not a huge fan of how Mourinho teams play in general but in this instance I see nothing wrong with it, we all know how dangerous Liverpool can be when given space. Mourinho tactically beat Klopp today, Klopp didn't have much of an answer.

    Aye, he said it himself.

Liverpool controlled the ball, they controlled the game.

A West Ham supporters group had decided to organize a protest against the West Ham board. The owners agreed to meet the guy organizing it, and he suddenly canceled it - so some fans think he was paid off. Other groups wanted to stage a protest so the owners met up with 50-60 year old ICF (West Ham ex-hooligan member) who then when onto Facebook to make threats of violence towards another West Ham group who wanted to protest calling them "left wing antifa scum" so that supporter group pulled out, so today it boiled over and random fans ran onto the pitch and West Ham fans turned on each other... all pretty funny to watch.
