Did Allan McGregor get dropped for Hull? see hes on the bench with Harper playing. Couple of weeks ago I looked on a Hull forum to read about Robertson, never seen anything but seen a thread where they were all slagging McGregor calling him the worst keeper in the EPL.

 

Stuff I was saying here:

FAO Allan Mcgregor Both goalkeepers having a good game today. Something you have been unable to manage recently. 25 grand a week? Steve Wilson would have done better on 600 quid a week.

So whose better then Harper or Mcgregor? For me, it is not even debatable. Harper is as solid a goalkeeper as ever and could probably play til he's 50. Albeit in the lower leagues. AM will be going back to Rangers in the summer where the standard is more his level.

AM penalty stopper but is also possibly part of a Bruce Grobbalaer betting ring with his dodgy performances recently.

Until people have a scrap of proof can we knock off the alegations about mcgregor and betting. Other than albeit I will give it plenty of shocking performances I have not seen anything or heard anyone give a shred of proof that he is bent rather than being basically what he is A Scottish goalkeeper.

couldn't agree more. He cant save and keep a ball and now that's another shot, albeit well struck, straight at him and he doesn't stand up and save it. I think this may just be the start of the end.

Better goalkeeper, we'd be safe.

McGregor has had a great game...
All the effort put in by the players for nothing because of one man.
Should he be in the team because we have a humorous chant about him?
I think of other goal keepers in the premiership and maybe some people are right,maybe we do have the worse goalkeeper in the premiership.

He's lazy. He doesn't want the ball passing back to him. The only thing he is good at is penalty saving. Does anybody know when his contract is up?

I've got my doubts about McGregor.

I don't want to say anything specific on here that could impact on me legally, but I've had the feeling that there are some goals this season that he could have easily saved...

...but didn't want to IN MY OPINION - (for some reason?)

Got to be careful what I say, but has anyone else noticed this a couple of times this season? Could be some big money involved in the background. I'm a bit worried about it actually.

I know what you mean but I have forgotten now. My old man despises him! Called him a big lazy scotch * the other day. Hard to disagree with that.

That's all small club mentality though isn't it?? They expect their keeper to save everything and pick at it as if it's McGregor's fault they are going down.

He has some big weaknesses but on his day McGregor is a better goalie than Hull.

A lot of the comments directed at him because he's Scottish and played their, wouldn't get that with an Englishman playing in England.

Proves how reliant they were on Suarez last season

 

I said it nearer the time, Liverpool wouldn't recover from Arsenal and Mn United battering them and they haven't.

Can see Klopp coming in but I hope 'We are the best team in the world' Rodgers stays.

 

Benitez will come back for me will get them back solid in defence a bit like Mourinho tbh his football isn't great but it works

 

He's a real hit and miss keeper, has always been known for some real calamities and not isolated either..

2 great results for hull, want them to stay up. 3 Scottish international's in the side. Want as many of our international squad playing in the top leagues as possible. Why I prefer sides like qpr going down as they have all but 1 I think..

Dunno he is an option but Klopp is a known Liverpool fan and I'm sure he's expressed a desire to manage them before.

Might be a now or never sort of thing.

 

Would like Hull to go down and Celtic to sign Robertson and Snodgrass....doubt it though.

To be fair Sturridge scored alot of goals last season too. His injuries haven't helped.

 

I've got a mate who supports Hull, he says he's class.

 

Maybe.

Most of his mistakes are shots from distance and freekicks too which are quite noticable for fans, he was terrible at the old club for that as well. So everytime someone scores from 20+ yards or a freekick, their fans probably all remember it right away and dislike him for it. Zaluska has the same problem with us just awful at diving for shots from 20 or so yards or freekicks. McGregors conceded 5 freekicks this season the in EPL, which is the most.

Wouldn't be good for Newcastle or Sunderland either. Must be torture for their fans watching all these other teams pick up points while they are *!
