totaly agree with your post. We have a player in Massimo Donati that could control Seire A games from the centre of the park but at Celtic he has no confidence or beleif in his own ability. He was an absolute gem at Atalanta. I loathe watching this teams style of play. I loathe Strachan for his aproach to his position as manager of Celtic. He conducts himself in a very unprofesional manner. I left Scotland not long after McStay's testemonail and that was the last game i went to before i had a chance to see Celtic play Aberdeen in last seasons Scottish cup. I am glad i am not a season ticket holder. Celtic are a very average team in a poor league. Celtic struggled to beat a team that is now playing non league football last season. Long gone are the days that you knew if we were 3-0 down we would still win 4-3:38:

Oh is that why he was passed around Serie A like the dorm *? In 8 years he's switched teams 7 times... and had long spells on the bench. But it's a different story at Celtic eh?

That's such an amazing phrase. And you're right, Donati wasn't exactly the best thing to come along in Serie A. He was promising when younger, but never lived up to his potential.

when u think of the larsson era... the players we had were quality and a joy to watch (thompson, sutton, hartson, petrov, lennon, mjalby, etc). Now were stuck with avg footballers
i appreciate starchans 3 in a row but * we need to see that quality attack-minded celtic once again
can strachan provide that..im not sure

How much did we pay for players like Sutton again? Something like 6m? Didn't we spend nearly 20m in 2seasons alone? And we paid large wages. And we went through tough financial times. Since then the EPL has got even more inflated.
This is reality. Regardless of Strachan, this is reality. Get used to it.

Ryan67 - as u claim to be a Celtic fan I'll choose my words carefully.
Go * yourself. You whine like a * and u don't deserve your season ticket.

    Good on you mate.

Not giving up my season ticket but I agree that the club has been moving in reverse for the past couple of years. However, if you suport a team, you support them always.:54:

rayn 67 i hope you are totally ashamed of yourself

faithfull through and through obviously doesnt apply here then

im 24 and have had a season ticket since the hampden season before that i went to the jungle or the old stand at the old cp
so we have lived through exactly the same time

one big diffrence is that the last thing im thinking about doing is handing my season ticket back

you talk about the great oneill team and of course it is the greatest time supporters of our age have experinced

and of course there have been bad times as you have listed above

but even after inverness ct artmedia or clyde i never once even thought about packing it in

because whatever happens i will always be proud to be a celtic supporter and i will always be there whatever happens

being a celtic supporter is something more than just wearing a shirt because celtic is more then just a club and we are part of the reason celtic are so special

    as tommy burns once said

"That's what's so special right there Jim. They are there and their always there and * Bless everyone of them"

you talk about being a celtic supporter
well ryan the minuate you hand that ticket back you stop being a supporter and you just become another "fan"
and i hope you now enjoy shopping or whatever your going to do with your satuardays now and i hope someone far more deserving gets that ticket

Oh! over and over, we will follow you,
Over and over, we will see you through,
We're Celtic supporters, faithful through and through,
And over and over, we will follow you.

The abuse dished out to Ryan is a disgrace. He is entitled to his opinion and it seems to me that a lot of folk in this thread have simply joined a mob and stuck the boot in to him.

For everyone who rolls out the meaningless, empty cliche 'faithful through and through' were you faithful when the old board nearly killed the club ? Or did you take a stance that involved being 'unfaithful' for the good of the club ?

    Kyogo. A phenomenon

Agreed entirely - NO justification for treatment like that against someone who clearly has an ardent passion for the club and who is entitled to feel pretty disgruntled. Pretty * poor.

being moved around clubs when you are a young player is common in Italy. Usualy the club you originate from has first option of their signiture. He is a far better player than his current manager lets him be.

So is he still a young player at the age of 27? When does he stop being a "young"... pick your year. He's moved in just about every one of them.

    1999 Atalanta
    2001 AC Milan
    2002 Parma
    2003 Torino
    2004 Sampdoria
    2006 Messina
    2007 Atalanta
    2007 Celtic

of course he is perfectly entitled to have his opinion

but by the same token everyone can have a veiw on his reason for taking the action he has

if he had said im packing in my season ticket because i cant afford it
    or family comittments

but i feel his reason for jacking it dont really wash

and if you put your opinions on a website you got to expect people to have there say on that opinion and thats what i have done :celt_2:

you didn't mention that these were all loans. not counting Milan and Celtic. I agree by about 27 he should be considerd no longer a young pick. He should be coming to his prime just now. I think he is in the wrong country and at the wrong club for this. I would love him to move back to Italy and not for the reasons most on here want him too.

Is it that relevant that they were all loans? Clearly he was surplus at AC Milan... but nobody wanted to buy him outright until us. He probably isn't in the right country for his style of football, but he's hardly set the heather alight in Italy either.
