    Not sure.

He's a cracking player when he's on his game. Scores goals as well.

Many still blame MON. Surely this all shows there is something much bigger at play. It couldn't have just been him causing this. They are a poisoned chalice.

MON walked out the day before the first game of the season im sure, after just missing out on the champions league the year before, so clearly this has been coming, not sure the fans seen it coming to be fair.

Lerner lost interest years ago, i'm surprised no one bought them over as they are a decent sized club. The squad they have now is bang average and they will be down for while.

I though Richards and Lescott would be a steady partnership for Villa, but they have been awful especially Richards.

I think he was £60k, even that is far too much. Was an awful signing, think his contract is up in June

Just saw the Villa videos there.

Raging fans being laughed at by players as they get back on to the bus.

In the papers again today (after last year aswell) that Sky are making more folk redundant soon. They're struggling with the spiraling costs of the EPL production, also due to the fact BT have came in an pushed the prices up even further.

He's been out of favour ever since he grabbed the ball off Baines for a penalty and missed it. Pretty sure it cost Everton 3 points at the time.

BT entering the market created a bubble surely. The money went up a massive amount, much more than Sky would ever have made from an increase in profits. I think missing out on the CL was a heavy blow for them, I've heard a few folk say they've just kept BT as Sky wasn't really worth it now. The CL is top competition every subscriber would choose to keep I'm sure, must be a good money spinner for adverts. I wonder if Sky will go all out to get that back. I was wondering if they'll make lower bids for the EPL but they're sealed aren't they? Nightmare if they're finding it tough. BT just came out of nowhere it seems. Who thought anyone would challenge Sky's monopoly.

First one to go if they need to make cuts on the rights they buy is the SPFL

It's a pure riddy to grab the ball from the designated penalty taker. It's even worse if 3 points are up for grabs. The team is always supposed to come first.

Oh don't say the SPFL that would hurt big time. We would obviously be able to get our own deal but other clubs would feel that big time. Although I think a contract would always be kept if the revenue was more though, I can't imagine Sky cutting our costs would save money, it would mean they are losing it with us.

I don't see how MON can get the blame for Villa's decline. I mean he left them 7th in the table, how can he possibly be responsible for them getting relegated now? Come to think of it he * us up too, we were in the Eufa Cup final when he was here :smiley-laughing002: * the MON years were good ones.

We're actually a solid wee earner last I saw the figures but we've always been expendable for Sky.

Be better if instead they stopped bidding for the EPL and gave all the money £1billion a season? to the SPFL, Scottish teams getting £80-100million apeice every year, we'd have a chance of overtaking the EPL :smiley-laughing002: so people would start watching Scottish football probably as much as English
