    Really?

OK then pop quiz for you:

Given that Liverpool are renowned for having the richest 'history' of all EPL teams (In sure you'll agree you being clued up and stuff ;) ), out of Man City and Liverpool which teams have won the following competitions first?

    The F.A. Cup?

    The League Cup?

    A major European trophy?

    Yep...you guessed it....or did you?

People really need to get away from the notion that the English league was created in 1992. Manchester City have a history to rival any team currently in the EPL...

History of being a Yoyo team.

Do you actually think you can compare Man City's History to a team like Liverpool?

    That's rubbish

Any team in the EPL, really?

2 league wins, 1937 and 1968, 5 FA cup wins, 2 league cup wins and a Cup winners cup (which I wouldn't class as a major European trophy)

Now I really can't be arsed going through the other 19 premier league teams but I can tell you right now that Villa, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton, Chelsea all have better or similar histories

How do you determine 'history' then? Trophies won? The contribution that City have made to English football is as important as any of the teams you mention. To claim that City have no history (which was the original point) is lazy, ignorant and just plain wrong.

You seem deluded if you think Man City have any real history that matters .

Firstly I didn't claim they have no history, they have a history, just a pretty average one

To claim that City have made a contribution to English football to the same extent as United, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal, Villa or Everton is lazy, ignorant and just plain wrong

I've got a feeling Kippax is a Citeh fan

The Kippax was one of the best known and vocally active terraced stands at Manchester City's Maine Road Ground.

The club left Maine Road in May 2003 and relocated to the City of Manchester Stadium, with their old stadium being demolished in early 2004. This of course bought the end for one of City's most loved stands, The Kippax. Unofficially the East stand in the new stadium is also named Kippax.
