Actually I never noticed i was unbanned, but thank you for the invite its very much appreciated. Lovely to know such kind hearted people still exist in our society.

I also love how observant you are because we are and were *. Though remember this, as is your minor success our minor setback( when was the last time we missed a tourney) its a passing fad and you will be * forever.

I cant wait till I next get banned as i will more than likely be when Scotland yet again keep up there Houdini act at major tournaments.

I dont care who hates us, thats there problem not ours. Not talking bot winning an event, we have won 1 world cup more than The Netherlands but on no level would I say we are overall a better nation than Holland. Look at one thing how did Croatia react when they beat us? They looked as if they won the tournament, they beat England in our own backyard and this is one of the bet moments in there history, what do they really think of us then. If they bet Scotland would they have jumped about nearly as much?

We (Croatia) always respected England and its football. It is England who always underestimates and belitlles other nations and that is why everybody just loves it when you lose. Maybe this will teach you to show some respect, although I doubt it.

And, yes, we were very happy when we beat England twice (in Zagreb 2-0 and in London 3-2, aggregate 5-2 ) but it is hardly the best moment of our football history. Let me remind you that Croatia came third in France 1998 World Cup and qualified for all but one major tournament since independence. Which is more that can be said for England in past 40 years. So, get your facts straight next time

 

I said this is how you looked, I know where you got to but Ive never seen a tea already qualified for a major tournament look so happy to win a game that they didn't need to win. We did give you respect, if we never we wouldn't have played 4-5-1 on two occasions. You play very attacking football and are a technically great side. I have more time for a Croatian than you may think due to these factors. Im not saying we should be feared like Brazil but we have been a power in modern football the same way that Italy, France, Argentina, Spain, Holland, Portugal are, we have been a side that have reached the quarter finals in the last three major tournaments. Clearly the way Croatia will be if they can get to the knockouts of a few tourneys and produce he same football you have done throughout the qualifiers.

We have stagnated, we have been * no doubt about that, if we managed to qualify we would have been very lucky. We had a poor mans SGE and i showed. We need to rethink our national outlook from the very bottom and hopefully we can sort this out in two to four years. If we can do this we will be back to reaching the last of major tourneys and being in the bracket we were in.

 

Sure, we looked like that because of what you said - England has the status of a big football nation - but it turned out to be a bit of an exaggeration at this moment. You were riding on past glory and overrated players who may be good individuals, but they are not functioning as a team. Add McClaren to that and you have this result.

And may I add that being arrogant and in denial about obvious weaknesses does not help at all.

Greetings my Gaelic friends! There is something I would like to share with you, because I am sure that you will understand it. On the way to Lisabon in summer of 2004, we stopped at Fatima, sad a quick prayer and lite a candle in hope that this can help our guys against England that same day. It did not work, we lost as you may remember.
We were wearing our homeland jerseys and one guy recognized us and approached. He said that he and his handicapped son are from Ireland and asked us if we'll be so kind to take a picture with them. We said of course, no problem and did it. We talked for a while and I remember still his last words: Please win today, you must win! We have seen how much that means to them and when we lost, I thought about that and how we, Croatians, disappointed them. I think about them this days and I know how much they are happy now and this makes me even more happy. It is not a secret that we, Croatians, don't like English at all, we like you Scots and Irish much more, especially Irish beer and Scottish whisky , so we are happy for all of you guys too and we can assure you that, whenever Croatia plays England, on the fields and on the stands we will give 120% of our potential. Stay brave and proud, my Gaelic friends, as i know that you are and you always were.
