Larsson probably played a massive role in the death of the Huns. Imagine he left in 2000 or something, the Dead would probably have continued to win the League, wouldnt have had to spend as much money, might not have started the EBT's - who knows.

We're lucky Larsson stayed for 7 years and allowed us to pull ahead of the Dead and send them on the road to death.

Liam Miller was a massive blow, he'd came out of nowhere and looked a class act. He was outshining top class players in our team. Constantly called a traitor etc but really, he went to Man Utd - we've had players use their short contract to go to far inferior teams and not receive half the abuse he got - Maloney is one off the top of my head.

To be honest, Jorge was having mental problems. Anyone who knows anyone who had problems in the past knows what it can do to your life/career.

Also, in his defence, Jorge is still a tim today. He still talks a lot about us and he follows us in all of our games.

I get depressed as * every time I see Henriks name mentioned or see his picture. I * love the man so much. Bring him as a strikers coach or something. Just have him stand about - just so we can see him with Celtic again

Anyhoo, McGeady, Maloney and Boruc would be my choices for the last few years

On the opposite end of it, I was delighted when we sold Gary Caldwell. I went on the drink that night :50:

Luckily we traded Di Canio for Blinker.

Him, John Collins, Pierre and Viduka would be the obvious ones. It wasn't their fault but I don't think Sutton and McNamara had the opportunity to get a proper send off as well when they moved on.

When Boruc left I was pretty upset, was all very sudden, he was jetting off with the rest of the squad to the United States when Fiorentina signed him and that was that.

Nakamura and big JVOH leaving at the end of their contract got to me as well, you could argue they were past it in a hooped jersey but the Strachan era was the one were I really got 'into' Celtic and they were two key men from his time.

Actually, I seem to remember that there was a special send off for Martin O'Neill and Jackie McNamara in the same game. The League Cup Final against Dundee United, we won 1-0. It was Martin O'Neills last game in charge and Jackie's last game with the club. If winning a piece of silverware for the club isn't a good send off I don't know what is? Jackie then went to Wolves on a free after that.

not because of his playing skills, not worth crying over etc but when Islam Feruz left it left a right bitter taste

Any player who leaves us for money will leave a empty feeling, im not talking about getting a better deal at a better club, but say if Hooper left for a few thousand extra a month to fight relegation with Norwich, would probably have some hard feelings

Islam Feruz, what a * joke. After everything this club did for him. What a joke. I had forgotten his name.

Yep I remember now. If I remember right we actually tried to offer him a new deal as he was on his way down there. He had already gave Wolves his word he was signing for them though.

Pierre Van Hoojidonk, my favourite as kid. Shame he left the club the way he did, another two seasons and who knows what could have happened.

Pierre, Di Canio and Cadete broke my * heart.

I promised myself I wouldn't idolise or sing for any player again.

    Then along came Henke...

Yeh he stated a few times to the press that he always wanted to play for Celtic and that he wanted to end his career here. I think what most people are talking about, when they say that it is a shame the way he left here, is the way the club knew that, and waited until the very last minute to offer him a new contract. By that time, he wanted to stay with Celtic, but had already agreed to join wolves on a free transfer.

I always hated the way Chris Sutton's career ended with us. Also John Hartson.

But the most upsetting for me was Cadete, it really left me feeling empty.

I did not really mind Larsson leaving because he gave his all during the peak of his career with us. I was sad, but not empty.
