    We’ve got enough cover there but mate, Hayes who was brilliant on Saturday and Calvin Miller. I’ve never been so shocked at a signing in my life.

    Because thats a position we need to strengthen right now? No
    Because hes good enough for our team? No imo ... lack of ambition from the board way a signing like that. If he wasnt celtic daft & loved the GB i highly doubt anyone would see it as good business.

    Quality over quantity they said....love him but cmon lads Miller or Hayes could both play left back in the league. This seems more of a signing on a budget to keep the fans happy for a while.

    a second choice left back is probably behind a new centre back and centre mid in terms of importance but it's a decent signing. Can't grumble with it tbh

    Not gonna lie i didn't know it was a two year deal, thought he was just coming on a year and we'd properly scout a backup next year, not gonna moan about it and as i said earlier in the thread at least there's cover for tierney now, but i'm no sure on 2 years...

    Bit pointless of a signing for me, we already have Hayes to cover Tierney.

    The last season he was here he played about 5 games. Will likely be the new Gamboa, seen once every 3 month for random game as its not as if Rodgers even rotates the team often.

    To be fair with Tierney no other left-backs are ever going to get a game so you'd need a guy to be happy with possibly not kicking a ball.

    He may be on really low wages of about £5k a week.

    He will essentially be the Scott Bain of left-back.
