Classic izzy performance today if we're honest.

Bombs forward to put in a * cross then fails to get back leaving big holes in the defence.

Considering how little he's played and the venue, he was fine.

When he was squared up one on one he was rarely beaten, in his first season. That's nothing to do with ledley

Think he did okay too, KT is the best full back we've had in years so it's a tough comparison

Considering the lack of first team action, I thought he did very well.

Shaky start but did not bad, worried about the game on Tuesday though, I feel Izzy will be an easy option to exploit with his lack of match sharpness and fitness since he did cramp up.

Plus his lack of being able to do anything remotely defensive.

Yeah there's also that, just need to get him to sit back and not worry about going forward leaving us exposed.

Apart Izzys obvious defensive frailties he looks off the pace and not match fit. If BMG have done their homework (which I'm sure they have), they will exploit our weakness at Left-back. A very difficult tie has just got even harder.

Slow start to the match (Due to nerves and rustiness) but grew into the game more as it went on in what will be our toughest venue domestically this season.

This will be his last season I don't doubt that, but I'm glad he'll get a decent run in the side between now and Christmas which will be his farewell period to the fans as I see him leaving at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Sadly other long serving players like Ambrose and Commons won't be afforded the same amount of games to say goodbye to the fans.

I fear for him on Tuesday if I'm honest.

Sinclair must help him out, or play 3 in midfield and have Armstrong covering.

I'm not glad KT is injured. But this may be a blessing in disguise for the wee man. A good rest and he'll be back fresher to lift the trophies. As for Izzy. * love the guy. Glad he is getting a run. He was always gonna be important for us in the grand scheme. 11 players don't win leagues over the season.

I thought Izzy did well considering he has been out for a long time and with the defence and midfield we have now got, I don't think his defensive deficencies will be such a concern anymore

I'mjust glad he's still here in Tierneys absence. 2nd best left back we've had for decades.

I thought he started poorly, obviously due to match sharpness but he seemed to improve and have a decent game after that.

What does worry me is how we're going to deal with Traore on Tuesday because that guy is rapid fire down that wing.

I think our DMs are going to have to do a lot of extra work for the full backs and when we can get forward we'll have to be clinical.

Tough game but we should be getting more confident as a team each game we play considering our domestic results.

Maybe Izzy's energy getting forward will actually help us out and catch them off guard. Going to be some night for him being out so long. I hope he rises to the occasion, would be great to see him belting in some excellent crosses.

    Luckily, in EA's case, anyway.

Aye I hope Efe finds a club in January where he will get his confidence back. He was excellent when he first came here. I think his mind just went and he became vulnerable to mistakes he would never normally make. He could be a great find for someone.

Izzy won't be going anywhere though unless we're buying in someone new to back up Tierney. You think that is definitely going to happen? Well I guess Izzy will decide that himself through his performances in the next two months.
