I'd love for him to stay! However, he has a family to look after and is still a top quality LB. Would love him to compete with Tierney for the position, but if he finds another team who can offer a better wage and playing time I wish him all the best.

He's still a quality player we would need to replace, there is no way he would get a free transfer with 2 years left if we need to buy someone else

We should be trying to punt him to the chinese for millions :smiley-laughing002:

Would still be an excellent no.2, and would save us having to buy another LB.

As much as I was all for a bit of change and seeing him move on, keeping him here is a no brainer.

if Toronto are interested, they would know a fee will be due as hes under contract

I would've liked to see him playing on the left instead of Armstrong for a few games. I know his deliveries are sometimes not the greatest but not any worse than what we had. Also a good natural cover when KT went on the rampage.

“I have no problem with that - I am a Celtic player and I have two years left on my contract. No one has told me anything else and there have been no offers from the MLS.” (Scottish Sun)

Seems he's gonna stay after all

Delighted with that. Two players who can fight it out at LB. Izzy can be top class, the competition will only make Tierney hungrier to keep his performances at a high level.

I'm far from convinced he's going to stay, but I certainly would like him to. Tierney is still young and will no doubt see some dips in form over the coming few years.

Aye, we're one injury away from Ambrose at left back again.

I would be putting Janko or Lustig there before Ambrose. Mulgrew would be ahead of all 3 if he was fit should Tierney get injured. Izaguirre staying would be by far the best option though. I would genuinely be looking at someone from the youth squad before Ambrose. He should be out the door sharpish anyway hopefully.

Id hate to see him leave but I wouldn't begrudge him a move if he doesn't want to play second fiddle.

100% I was screaming for Fisher last time it happened, saw him play on the left in a few youth games.

Forgot all about Fisher to be honest mate. He is another who would be ahead of Ambrose for slotting in at left back if we had injuries. I can't take any more of Ambrose :smiley-laughing002:

I'd rather he moved on. He's just not good enough anymore and a liability, get's caught out of position all the time . He's also lost a yard of pace and isn't as productive going forward, and his balls in can be ridiculous, most of the time..

He wants to go, it's closer to home and he hasn't played a string of game's for a long time. I'm sure Rodgers will have someone in mind to come in, whether it's someone to compete and or a youngster, fresh like Tierney..

Thanks Izzy, but time to go..

Doesn't do the heart any good at all does it? :56:

Needs to go this window. Rodgers was a fan of a few bombscares at Liverpool though:smiley-laughing002:

I'm hoping he'll be a fan of the more Ashley Williams types up here, as he was at Swansea.
