if he wasnt a player then why have so many managers rated him?? fans are stupid and dont see what he brings to a team. hes a fantastic team player and played his whole career in the prem and also been a starter for england. think some people on here need to get a grip

No chance, this is simply paper talk and a stupid idea being thought up by some pen pusher. We are looking for a proven goalscorer. Would his name ever come up in that category ?

Very good link up player but we would still need another striker as he wouldn't score as many up here as people think. Look at his finishing at the world cup. Would rather accept 10 million and buy Keane.

MAF has a better goals to game ratio throughout their respective careers

Id rather keep sammy, if we sell mcgeady we can surely do better than heskey with the money? If he is supposed to be part of the deal tell them to keep heskey and up the money.

Are you being serious? He's just like fortune' but worse, this would be a very bad bit of business if it were to happen.

There is no way that Heskey will score as many as MAF next season. Plus some of them rockets that MAF scored last season Heskey would nat have even got them near the goal.

Do you think Heskey would have scored that header v the huns? No he would not have even been in the box.

    We should stay way clear

if this is our prem league striker then celtic fc have gone mad. we do not want a striker who has scored 5 in 2 seasons ( i think), i dont care how many he has set up hes a striker! i was just arguing with my mate about how i would have never taken hesky to world cup and hes * etc, and if this happens i will have to hang my head in shame! * you celtic!

I think the exact opposite is true, we have to start scouring 'lesser' leagues for players, because standard epl players command ridiculously over inflated wages and transfer fees.

I would be a better signing than Heskey.... but then I am pretty handy in front of goal, and I am faster than paint drying.

I agree. Heskey is much more direct than Fortune and is like an express train in full flight when he gets going. Nothing much will stop him. I would like Heskey to lead the line for us

Lou Macari rated Wayne Biggins does that mean he was quality? There are hundreds if not thousands of players who have had long careers despite being rubbish. What is that impresses you so much with Heskey? his poor touch? lack of passing ability? or maybe just his general lack of talent when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net? The only person who needs to get a grip is you.
