    Look im all on for supporting the club and players who are right for the club ! heskey is rubbish, absolute rubbish and it dosent take a genius to realise that ..
    he has been a flop anywhere he has been .
    Im not one to write on sites ah support this player and that player and then when the guy plays * every game gets no goals etc etc come back on to the same site and slate him .
    He is * always has been and always will be :38:

    He's had bigger moves and played in bigger leagues and tournaments than most players at Celtic. He offers lots to a team. Owen is one of his biggest fans.

    He wont get goals .The huns will have a field day with him which would effect the tiny amount of confidence he has .He has the potential to be our sebooo .We need a striker that will score and looking at sammy,Maf and Emile BLEEDIN Heskey up front id say we would be in big trouble !!Plus mcgeady would be potentially gone .

    yup higuita and chilavert (both goalkeepers ) has scored more goals at international level too!:rolleyes: domesticaly? i wouldn mind compareing the 3 on that aswell. so ill say it again! the man is rubbish simple as that.

    We already have a big enough gamble signing Daryl Murphy. It would be striker suicide to sign Heskey as well. Their goal scoring records are horrendous. Think Wayne Biggins or David Fernandez because that is the type of goal threat they offer.

    Celtic need a goal scorer not a collection of donkeys.

    hows it a stupid comparison? and what the * has the epl got to do with it? oh wait thats the greatest of greatest leagues in the world eh:rolleyes: south american leagues are good leagues too you know. whats stupid is you think he is a good striker where i along with others think he is pish! christ the man got slagged off by england fans ffs. the comparison is just! 2 goalies are more prolific than this striker fact.

    Let's be honest, the best players leave south America.

    These teams play internationals constantly. England don't. They also have good players who take their penalties. Kinda irrelevant stat.

    He's been seen as a valuable player by many good managers.

    Look, We arent EVEN after him and theres over 200 posts on him.

    Personally, I think he would do a great job up here....IF we dont have Fortune or Samaras(the enigma). He wont score 20 to 30 goals. I think he would get between 10 and 15/20 up here. He has TONS of experience and would create alot of goals if we have the right man to put them away infront goal, hopefully Rassmussen will be the man to do that.

    players leave everywhere mate! and when the do? 9 out of 10 carry on being the player they were there and doing it in europe or made better"! does heskey not take penalties? if no then his problem. the stats are fine! you just dont agree simple as that! no problem. but heskey is done and not the striker people seem to think he is.

    There are thousands of very average south Americans playing across the world. They leave south America.

    Pointless stat.

    He gas been deemed a good player by many a good manager. That says it all for me. Twice the player fortune is imo
