I dont care are about the 3rd/4th, although admittedly I'd rather have won it. I do care a lot about the semi though and I'm still gutted about it.

 

we're both gutted about the semi's to be fair. Braehead went 1 up early on, equalled Sheffield's shot tally and had 3 more power plays than Sheffield which they couldn't take advantage of. I dunno if it feels better or worse losing to the eventual winners because Belfast was the team to worry about but seeing that they were there for the taking and not getting the chance to have a go at them ourselves was *.

Braehead lost their first player of the summer, Zajac has signed for Telford. Telford are putting together a pretty good side in the EPL, heard they were going to apply to the Elite League, potentially replace Edinburgh cos they're a waste of oxygen.

Might go to the Dundee game on the 1st to see what it's like. I'm an NHL snob though so I don't know what I'll make of it.

Someone needs to redesign their logo. It's horrendous.

 

You should see their rink. It's a dump. Probably the worst I've been to after Fife.

 

Yeah you'll probably hate it, I doubt its the greatest hockey ever but I go mainly for the atmosphere and the fun, its unreal. The logo is * quality, better than some generic *.

Leslie needs to get * sorted.

Played tonight, beat Fife 2-1 to go back top of the league. At home again tomorrow against Hull which should be two points.

 

Sorry for being 70 odd year old. We cant all be millenial start ups with new arenas. If you know your history haha.

Telford should be allowed in but keep Edinburgh in the league for the comedy factor. Havlosvky is a comic genius in net. Mind a few years ago the Caps had to release most of their imports basically because it was snowing.

If it was viable I'd love to see a 16 - 20 team elite league

 

A decent win for the Clan on Sunday night. Glad I went now, as I was considering staying away due to the weather.

They really need to get the finger out with their merchandise though. It's * poor for the most part.

 

The merchandise range is sufficient but stock levels are horrible. I've often wondered who is in charge of it cos I reckon i'd give it a better go than whoever it is now. Also in 2014 to not have an online shop is unforgivable really and potentially a big loss of revenue. I think just about every team in the league even the 'smaller' ones have an online shop.

Highlights are pretty lame compared to other clubs as well, the commentary is fine but there's only one camera position and out of 20 minutes of highlights they only show each goal once in real time, no slow motion replay, nothing. It's terrible.

 

If I had a logo and uniform as terrible as the Clan's I wouldn't want to sell it either.

 

It's quality. I think it's pretty funny anyway.
