Get a grip. Wilson wasn't his teammate, Bangura was playing for Elfsborg. All he did was overreact to the genuine contact Wilson made with his face (twice), something lots of players do in the modern game. So you think that puts him in the same bracket as a guy who spits at fans, abuses people lying on the floor with a broken leg, etc? You hope someone inflicts physical violence on him? Really?

I understand if people aren't very happy with him; but some people are going too far with the hatred and I feel like they were just looking for an excuse to paint him in the bad guy role. As a Celtic fan, I'm embarrassed by statements like yours.

My hate wasn't to the man himself well ofcourse it was but if it had been any other play in that situation where he wanted to play and actually tried against us I would be angry at them too wether he is * and only played 3 games for us or it was a player who played more

What if we had a player on loan with us and in a massive CL match he refused to play against his parent club for us? Would you not be angry? Bangura was in a situation where he couldn't win no matter what he did.

I think it is much less prevalent in the modern game, actually. Far less common nowadays... and it's still violence. You're entitled to your opinion; but I honestly don't believe you really think he's on a par with Diouf. Either you were just letting off steam or you haven't thought it through.

Bottom line a celtic player on loan to another club, tried to play act and get a team mate sent off , end of story, he's a scumbag.

In fact the only thing he didnt do 'dioufesque' last night was push through the coppers to throw his jersey to the elfsborg fans

Yes, I did. Disgraceful. I don't remember any of it being from Bangura, though.

I thought Elfsborg played a dirty game all around last night.

It almost reminded me of the Celtic V Racing clips Ive watched from the 60s. The refereeing was also disgraceful.

I think theyre just dirty *. Id love to talk to some Swedes to get their take on that club and what theyre like to play against.

On the topic of Bangura, though. Pure simulation. Sorry guys but I cant really see how you could view what happened there any other way. Tom Boyd hit is spot on when he said it was a disgrace. And you can't really get a more well rounded view of football than that of Tom Boyd. The guy has always been a first class diplomat of Celtic Football Club.

He was a complete * in the second half but he didn't spit on any Celtic fans to be fair.

To Mcguire1 and Glorious1967, whats the problem? Were you sitting right infront of Wilson and Bangura, did you see what happened? Was uncalled for. He wasnt even challenging for the ball when Wilson elbowed him the time he went down. When he went down everyone was booing him and he was probably just wishing the ground would swallow him up tbh. He got back up and got on with it. You need to give the guy a break. As others on here were saying hes not a bad guy or player and certainly didnt deserve that, yes it was my first post on here but who cares about that? I seen what happened the other night and googled it when I came into work to see what people were saying about it only to see alot of people sayin he was guilty of simulation, which he wasnt. I just wanted to make people aware encase they didnt see the full picture. The guy was given more than enough booing and abuse. Quite embarrasing actually. What would you have said if we had our best striker on loan from another club and he refused to play against his club even though we were paying his wages? Hes a proffesional footballer at the end of the day, hes there to do a job and he just got on with it, fair play to him.

Elbow was no where near him it was about two fingers to the cheek he took and hardly enough to put a grown man down !
