I'm getting a bit bored of Madrid and Barcelona now, think its because there on Sky Sports every weekend it gets a bit too much, really hope Athletico can win the league this season just be nice to see a new name on the crown that the big 2 dominant

 

So a guess you'd like to see a new name on the crown of the SPL other than Celtic?

 

I didn't mention anything about Celtic mate, I'm just saying the games between them happen too often these days there starting to annoy me, its not about there success they deserve whatever they get there both great teams

 

When Rangers were alive we played them 4 times a seasons at very least. Did that annoy you too? :smiley-laughing002:

Watched 20 mins of the second half and turned it over to the Southampton game - which was far more entertaining.

 

Good result for Barcelona,i bet £50 on them to get beat..

 

I hope Atletico win the league too.

What do yees think the night?

Think Barcelona will win 3-1. Usual with Barcelona probably controlling most of the game but Real dangerous from set peices and counters. Ronaldo will be a big miss for Real.

Hope Barca play Pedro and Sanchez instead of Fabregas and Neymar. Fabregas and Neymar are more suited against defensive teams they need to sneak through but Real are usually a wee bit open where the more direct players are better.

 

Ronaldo will be a miss but that should mean Di Maria plays as part of a three where he is potentially very dangerous. Especially if he plays on Neymar's side who offers virtually no cover.

Pedro and Sanchez should both play but I can't see Martino changing that, he seems to always play the same team in the big games.

Messi's been off the boil recently, wandering about the pitch like a sulky teenager, so that might even up the fact Ronaldo isn't playing.

I say 3-2 Madrid. Iniesta, or Pedro if he's playing, to score first, Ramos to get sent off.

 

Fancy Madrid tonight. They should have won the last game between the sides, and with Barca having more injuries from that night in defence, I can see Madrid winning it by a couple of goals. Ronaldo will be a miss, but he wasn't their standout player last time round, so I think they are more than capable of winning without him. Hopefully I'm way off the mark though, always want Barca to beat them.

Flew back from Valencia this morning. The atmosphere in the city was crazy. The train station was wall to wall police, supposedly to stop the fans fighting but it took me an extra 45 minutes to get to the airport because of the *. The papers this morning were slaughtering Messi so I hope he has a cracker
