Palmeiras -Corinthians the other night had even worse play acting than both these games. But I hope the final will be remembered for good football no matter what the result.

Thats what Manchester United fans will be thinking. It would be funny if they won nothing.

Best team by far won over the 2 legs. Mascherano let himself down but minor point.

Great to see Abidal back and the reception he got.

I'm not a fan of either mate :icon_mrgreen: just like both teams. I love Liverpool for the way they've battled back this season and hope they win the Prem next year. Just like various football teams for various reasons. Valencia are my Spanish team, Juventus my Italian team, Borussia Dortmund my German team, Lyon my French team, PSV Eindhoven my Dutch team. My Englishg team is Wolves but United were a team I followed when I was very young(playground influences) so its hard to forget them. But Celtic are the only team I properly follow.

No title party for Man United at emirates funny stuff. Even with Vidic cheating.

man utd will have trouble with messi, who's gonna try and contain him?, Diarra gave it a good go but still Messi was in the game, i think fletcher could be a shout but i dont think hes as good a tackler as diarra is

Utd have the best defence in the world imo so barca wont find it easy to break through, in midfield barca will have most of the ball as always but i trust giggs or scholes etc to use it wisely when they have possession, upfront if rooney finds room he'll hurt barca whether it be himself or sliding a pass through to hernandez. As far as messi goes i think park will be told to stay close to him, need someone fast and nimble for that task and park fits the bill.

Thats from a utd perspective though, in reality utds defence as good as it is will be under enormous pressure, the midfield will be likely to get overun and i cant see rooney getting much room or time to work with.

Heres hoping they can pull of a shock, should nerver right of Man United against anyone.

there a big difference to the Barca team since then, new manager, half of the starting 11 have changed too, for the better, im not convinced that united are as good a team as they were in rome
