Not a good match from Juarez, i think the whole team was a bit slow and stiff in the back. Mulgrew and Samaras are a disgrace.

i know, sammy was upfront on his, completly outmarked and never recieved the ball and he was our worst player guessing hes the scapegoat then?

we need to get rid of brown, toughen up ki and get the israili in the centre and give the defence an outlet by our wide players actually creating chances.

Sorry really did not see the point in starting him or Cha tonight school boy stuff from Lennon neither was match sharp should have came on off the bench tonight , Hopefully Lennon will learn fast ,

 

he had an ok start but as the team started playing bad he started to as well

 

juarez......worse version of brown which is my impression from that game. Foul upon foul.

 

oh dont get me wrong, every single one of them was shambollic, i was just trying to keep it on topic

not sure how many games mulgrew, samaras, brown etc have played but today was juarez first game with celtic and first game in a month period. you can tell he looked stiff from not playing give him a few mored days cant judge him yet... plus the whole team played bad makes it alot harder

 

Some people dont give players a chance atall on this forum. You'll get use to it . James you've got Juarez in your sig and I bet the night was the first time you watched him play.

I watched the game and was surprised to see him starting with such limited time with the squad

He had a bad game... every player did really

His touch was as bad as i have ever seen

He lacked sharpness and you could clearly see that he's been with the squad for no more than a week

His teammates looked a bit hesitant to pass him the ball too
Can't blame them

He's a quality player but first impressions are very important and he disappointed


I have no doubt he will play better, i just hope it's soon

 

Juarez was ok but it was clear he wasnt match fit hasnt kicked a ball in weeks of course that matters was school boy stuff starting him tonight , Give the lad time and let him settle before you judge him guys ,

 

Yep, too early to judge as this is the first time he has played with his new team mates. Hopefully we see the best of him in the coming weeks.

drops back all the way to center circle. takes ball, doesn't make the quick pass to open man, keeps the ball changes direction 3 times, gets surrounded, loses possesion.

player is driving down the wing, samaras finds a midfielder or defender to hide behind as he jogs lazily behind the play, lose possesion

player is driving up the middle, samaras runs right at his own man, drawing another defender to the man with the ball, play breaks down, lose possesion.

doesn't know how to create space, first touch is awful, hold the ball too long, spits the dummy and takes himself out of the play. GTF, he's got to go. Sorry about this being off topic but it does my nut in when people STILL defend Sammy. he is utter pish and if you didn't see it tonight, you're blind
