After parting ways with Ronny Deila, Efraín Juarez got his first chance as a manager with the biggest club in Colombia, Atlético Nacional:

Millionarios would argue that and considering they had players like Di Stefano and currently Falcao I'd say they have a good claim.

Been in a pub in Bogota when they played each other in a friendly and it's weird seeing rivals so tame lol.

They never won a Libertadores and that hurts their legacy.

Nacional has the most leagues, the most Colombia cups and the most Libertadores won by a Colombian club (2).

Efraín Juárez was summoned by the Medellín Police at the end of the match and by the Personería during his press conference, where he was explaining the events, stating that he was celebrating with officials who were up in the box.

On Thursday, EL TIEMPO confirmed that the verdolaga coach was sanctioned by the Police Inspection with a ban ranging from 3 to 5 years from attending stadiums across the country, as well as a financial penalty. Inspector María Alzate imposed the sanction for "inciting physical or verbal aggression or damage to sporting, public, residential, or commercial infrastructure." The fine for the coach would amount to 20 times the current legal minimum wage.

Atlético Nacional is aware of the situation and has already appealed the decision with the inspector who issued the ban. The club considers the sanction to be "shameful," but is confident that their appeal will reduce it to zero.

Following the final whistle, when Nacional secured their place in the decisive stage of the Copa Colombia, which they will contest against América de Cali, coach Juárez celebrated passionately, inciting provocation among the DIM fans.

Several fans of Poderoso entered the pitch with the intent of confronting the coach, leading to fights both on the field and in the stands.

"At the end of the match between Nacional and Medellín, unfortunate disturbances of public order occurred. Such things should not happen in football, especially not between two local fan bases," he initially stated.

"Around 10 altercations occurred inside the stadium, all controlled and without affecting the safety of the attendees. The PMU detected movements from the team's coach. The PMU decided to recommend that the Police Inspection impose a measure on the coach. This action was taken at the end of the press conference, where some Nacional officials informed him to comply with the proceedings with the Personería and Police Inspection," he added.

Atlético Nacional will begin their semifinal quadrangular matches of the Liga this Wednesday, facing Santa Fe at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium.

Atlético Nacional advanced to the League finals. So, in his first semester as a coach, Juarez is in the Cup and League finals, I hope they can win at least one of them.
