Good decision if true. Need to keep a hold of our better players, bearing in mind we are still in 4 competitions.

    Would want £6m+ for him.

Wait. What? Someone offered us actual money? We said no?

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
I am trusting that the sum in the paper is in fact pish; if not, then it seems like the biggest possible waste of money since some of the outgoings in the Barnes era.

Quite happy for both to replace Ambrose for the next 6 months for a good fee.

No chance we have knocked back that offer in my opinion. If we have however, then somebody needs their P45.

    Yup.

But if that's true, it's because we know we definitely have no chance of Denayer for another season and we won't keep Van Dijk

Do you think that would stop Lawwell taking the 4.5m that was supposedly offered?

I agree that that fee is probably bullshit. PL has a set of eyeballs the same as the rest of us and has seen the liabilities hes created at first hand. If it was true, i suspect he would have been sold and the cash would have got us a decent replacement.

if the offer is true , we should sell and use the money to buy a new CB in this window , for 3 million quid we could safely buy a decent , no fuss centre back from the championship.

Absolutely mate. We would have took the 4.5m, Lawwell would have gave Deila 500k or so, asked him to find a replacement, or just bring another player in on loan, and we would have banked the rest. I'm still looking forward to the Forster fee being reinvested into the playing squad
