Ambrose did play well today. He's definitely got it in him to be a player, it's just his concentration that can let him down at times.

Although i can appreciate he played decent today,Ambrose is an accident waiting to happen and always will be.I see him the same way i do Stokes, looks good in the Spl but in Europe he is going to get found out.everytime he gets the baw his last option is to make a simple pass.Always wanting to skip by players and shocking in the air too.Juventus wasn't a one off mark my words.

Big Efe had another comfortable performance today, he was outstanding on Wed too. Keep it simple Efe, cut out the fancy efforts, and you have a good future with us :50:

He does make some stupid decisions and silly mistakes but I think he should be able to iron out these flaws. He has far too much potential for us just to write him off. And the Juventus game apart, he has saved some of his best Celtic performances for Europe. He seems to have an excellent understanding with Van Dijk already, as he did with Wilson before. I agree with you about Stokes, by the way.

I have been his harshest critic, but he had a great game today.
I still think he's too skillful to be at centre half, but he's slowly and surely winning me over.

Didn`t see the game but Ambrose has looked back to his best this season so far. Himself and Stokes will be the contenders for POTY at the end of the season. Always liked Ambrose - ye have to love a CB who loves to play a bit as well. That Juventus game * his confidence up a bit but he was unreal before that especially against Barca

Iv never known a central defender to be so good at dribbling but so bad at defending.

Hes one of my favourite players though, I think hes going to shock us and pull a ""Sammy" on us.

Ambrose and Van Dijk look to be forging a good partnership. Both of them have great technique for two 6ft3 center backs. Ambrose has never been a bad player. Just made a few high profile mistakes.

He went through a "bad period" at start of the season when Big Vic left.

I remember reading an interview with someone who said Ambrose was quiet and mainly hung around with Vic so mabye he was just feeling a bit out of things!

Lenny dropping him has done him a world of good, he's came back with his concentration improved tenfold. He smashes it when it needs smashed, he's calm and composed when the occasion calls for it. Looks like the player before the African Cup of Nations last year, hopefully he keeps it up.
