So composed, with the ball at his feet, he's very very calm and collected. Did his job superb tonight and no doubt shut up a lot of his critics.

Been slating him for months but played well last night. If only he could cut out the stupid mistakes like passing straght to the opposition and that stupid backwards header he done last night that nearly fell to their striker, he would be brilliant.

I love Efe. Our best centre back in my opinion.

He's bulked up from last season too, not very much but maybe put on half a stone and is possibly even quicker than he was. Wee bit more power about him.

Looked phenomenal last night but it only takes one mistake from him to cost us matches, which will result in everyone wanting him punted again.

Probably what Lennon was going on about last night. We have too many shitebags among our support "ahhh he's trying to play football from the back".

People need to realise its the way forward. The likes of Hummels, Pique and David Luiz will be the defenders of the future, guys who have the technical ability to play in midfield and are calm on the ball. Aye they make more mistakes than your Terry's, Vidic's and Samuel's but they types cant make the differance going forward that sometimes you need.

People need to stop assuming he's going to make mistakes and fully back him at carrying the ball forward or dribbling his way out of danger.

I hate when he makes a run forward, then sneaks past a player and the stadium starts to erupt because fans are * themself that hes going to get it took off him, probably putting him off. If people cheered and encouraged him, he could probably run box to box with the ball as when hes in full flow he's like Samaras, too big and quick to tackle or stop - but as theres usually moaning and groaning when he makes it past the half way line he always seems to stop the run there and then pass the ball and fall back into defence.

Other than one near miss howler in the second half he was excellent.

The howler in question he was at the right hand corner of the box, and tried to clear a ball in a panic when there was no pressure and just gave it directly to a Shaktyor striker.

We need to learn to make better movements when he does that. He can take a midfield out the game by stepping up, we need to take advantage of that room.

The thing he done last night and against ICT was keep it simple when it needed to be simple. That is what I have been crying out for him to do.

Spot on, I was constantly saying this at the game last night.

When he picks the ball up and runs into the oppositions half NOCUNT moves anywhere. As soon as he gets the ball and makes movement forward ALL our forward players should start making runs everywhere, giving him options to pass it forward. But they all stand and watch, frustrating to look at.

Lennon should tell the players to do that but he obviously doesnt.

That is really the only thing we need to improve upon, our movement. We are always too static. Samaras stands and watches when hes not on the ball, never ever moving into space or anticipating anything. Most other players are the same but Samaras is by far the worst for it, last night there was a couple of times we were running down the right and instead of Samaras who was on the left darting into the box inviting someone to cross it in, he just stood, hands on hips on the left watching like a fan.

He will, he has major quality; but he'll probably make one or two more big * ups while he's still learning. It's important we back him when he does.

Brilliant performance by Ambrose last night. I wonder did Lennon have a wee word about just simplfying his game as its when he tries to be cute that he usually gets in trouble. But last night he was excellent no * around and was good coming out of the back with the ball at speed too so we could keep the game moving quickly to stretch them.
