Full nights work nearly undone by this * muppet, terminate his contract and get rid. But good result, hopefully see past this mob and get a few signings in the for the next round. No that I'm holding my breath with that lot running the club but..

Don't think he was that bad today but he is still a liability so has to be one of the first out the door.

Just seen Gordon at the Astana goal there * me, for once Ambrose wasnt at fault, but please be his last game, cant we just leave him there as a parting gift to the people of Astana for their hospitality

    Don't say that

Unlike Karagandy, Astana sacrifice a donkey before every match. :54:

Did ok as did o'connell, I actually thought he had less mistakes than o'connell on the ball.

    I'll agree with you there.

Personally thought Efe had an OK game, certainly a 6/10 at least.

The guy can't do right for doing wrong though now in the hoops, unfortunately.

one near the end that nearly cost us the point shocking totally disrespectful to his team mates and the other team that he easily switches off stand in no mans land and doesnt mark whats even more insulting is brendan told griff at touchline go tell all the players in the box to concentrate for the set piece and ambrose just stands their leaving the astana player to head over goal something fishy about him now happening too often

O'connell wasn't great either but I can think of Efe nearly cost us a goal atleast 3 times yesterday, he * up which lead to the corner for their goal aswell.

    not going anywhere

Celtic of Scotland defender Efe Ambrose has reacted to rumours linking him with a move to Greek side Olympiakos or a possible exit from Celtic Park before the end of the ongoing transfer window.

Ambrose who posted a near faultless performance for Celtic in their 1-1 draw away to Astana of Kazakhstan in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, is reportedly set to be cut loose by the Scottish Champions following their recent capture of Ivorian defender Kolo Toure.

However the 27 year old exclusively told Owngoalnigeria in a chat after the game, that he is unaware of any talks regarding a move away from Celtic, that talks about his possible exit is been spread by certain interest whom he is aware off.

” I know those who are behind the rumours, but I won’t mention them at least for now, am not aware of any talks regarding a move away from Celtic, same people behind the Bayern Leverkusen interest are behind this Olympiakos story” He said.

” The perpetrators of the Bayern Leverkusen interest went as far as saying I told close friends that Leverkusen wants me, meanwhile I was alone training with the youth teams of Chelsea with the first team away for Pre season”

” I have said it before that am ready to fight for my spot in the team and nothing has changed, It will also impress you to know that just as am reading about Olympiakos interest in me, In January I also read same but am fully settled and happy at Celtic”.

The problem with efe is yes he may have a good game but if you put a block of 10 games together most players will make a mistake once with efe you will get maybe 3 or 4 mistakes, maybe even cost 2 goals....tons of oh * that was lucky moments and the whole team just cant trust him like they do the rest of the players.

If he gets 3 games in a row where he does not cost us its classed as a good season.:54:

If we are playing 3-5-2 for any period of time this season a right wing back is where we could get some good performances from him .his concentration leaves him unreliable for the last line of defence but he has ability. surely someone has to see this at some point and play to his strengths
