    Luckily, I think Rodgers realises this as well. 3rd time lucky in terms of gaffers.

    If Erik, Toure, Simunovic, Boyata, O'Connell are all fit he is essentially 6th choice. Will not be here come end of August, you'd think.

    Conceding 1 away from home isn't awful, he did well to carry that bombscare O'Connell. To be fair to O'Connell he gradually improved through the guidance of Efe.

    Boyata is definitely a better defender. He's gash on the ball but as you say, he's very good in the air and better on the deck with 1-on-1's etc.
