Efe Ambrose

He's too far gone now at this club has made far too many howlers the frustrating thing is I actually think he's a good player but has no concentration & is erratic if he could improve that then he would be good just like he was when he first came but he has to be someone else's problem now had too many chances here & hopefully the rumour is true that Fenerbache want him bet we could even get a couple of million for him

 

I'm sure if he stays then Brendan will get the best out of him .

I think his passings very under-rated, aye near enough all side footed passing no quality pinging of the ball at pace but he's very accurate and he takes risky passes.

If Scott Brown could pass a ball the way Efe does he'd be a lot better for us. A problem for Brown has always been he never passes the ball forward from midfield, he always goes sideways.

If you watch Efe closely, he passes the ball through a teams midfield all the time(partly because he's off his nut) which are very risky but he pulls it off just about every time, was always a decent outlet for us and goes relatively unnoticed.

If you looked at what he's good at he would do a decent job for teams in midfield I think, good in the air, quick footed, fast and able to use his pace to recover and i'd say smooth on the ball who can take passes and move it on, can also jink past a couple of players and get out of trouble on the ball. For a centre-half he's too weak, too relaxed and doesnt spot danger and he takes too much risks although they actually hardly ever cost us mostly what costs us is brainless defending.

 

Even if he could play that position, we have more than enough midfielders as it is.

If Brendan keeps him, my faith will instantly drop from 100 to 0 %..

Can see Efe being that aggressive ball playing centre-back Rodgers will be looking for. Brendan's no daft, he'll see the sheer quality in Efe's game.

One is as bad as the other, so I'm hoping Brendan gets shot of both of them. That means we will need another ball playing centre back brought in this window.
