Efe Ambrose

Hyperbole like this is one of the reasons I still defend Efe. Anybody who has been following Celtic since the early 90's and claims that Efe Ambrose is the worst player they have ever seen play for Celtic is guilty of exaggerating in what can only be described as a bizarre fashion.

So true, the guys a bomb scare and we have been saying it for years... at least now ronny has gone a sensible manager will know not to play him ever again.

 

What are the other reasons?

How anyone can still defend him beats me. Time and time again he has cost us, and even though we still won look what happened today when he came on. We looked dodgy as * at the back every time they came at us.

He'd only been on the pitch ten minutes and he almost cost us 2 goals - first one when he passed the ball straight to Hayes, then when him and McGregor made an * of it and gave the ball away at the edge of our box.

He's diabolical.

 

He's definitely one of the worst players to ever play for us, plain and simple. The guy is a shambles.

What's embarrassing is that people still defend him.

 

The teams tactics let us down, wasn't just Efe. Although he does try.

We have, under RD, a habit of getting ourselves a good lead then deciding to sit back snd invite constant pressure. The only way you can play that way is with a solid striker who can hold up the ball and pacey midfielders who will burst their hole to support him. We have neither so it's long ball clearances then back to defending deep in our own half time after time.

 

The guy is a never a footballer and is worse than a man down.....Hyperbole my fat hairy *......plain and simple my view and straight from the heart, he should be nowhere near a Celtic jersey.

This has to be the poorest case for his defence I've ever seen. 'Aye he's double * but not the worst * we've EVER had, let's keep him'. No thanks, punt him to *. Woeful excuse of a player.

 

People who defend him no nothing about football - he makes Oliver Tebily look like Franco Baresi , yes he is one of the WORST players to embarrass the hoops. I've even seen people on here saying we need to keep him he's "comedy value" or an "outstanding athlete" ???? Yes but he's NEVER a footballer. We'd be better off playing with 10 men or even better a Traffic cone. He has no awareness,can't anticipate play, sleeps, dives in, tries to play the ball out of defence but Can't.. What happens next year when we need vital points and calamity Jane sells the jersey's for yet another time......yes but he's comedy value ??? These fans should go and follow Billy Smarts circus if they want a laugh. I want 11 men who are committed to Celtic winning and there's no room for slackers. My only fear is if Lennon is the next boss he will keep this clown....remember he was the one who signed him + new contract + Juve shambles.

Don't know why they didn't just move * in at centre half and put Junko on instead of Ambrose.

 

Hope to * we can get rid of him in the summer.

 

Cause Lustig was * around the 60 minute mark, he was looking at the big screens to see how long had gone

Haven't blamed Efe for a long time now, the whole blame lies with the person that continues to play him and afford him another opportunity to gift the opposition.

If the alternatives in the development side aren't better than Efe at this stage then we may as well tear up their contracts.
