You can train concentration, mate. Anyone who meditates is training (among other things) concentration. You can train pretty much anything except reading the game (which only comes with intelligence combined with experience and which Efe is decent at) and sprinting speed (which he is outstanding at).

I'm not saying he will do it, just that I'm hopeful. I can see improvements.

Not many people thinks that Ambrose is a top class defender . If he was he would be at Manchester City , Chelsea or at a top German or Spanish club, instead of been a reserve defender at Celtic ,
There is a * of a difference between being a reliable back- up for Celtic than been labelled a bomb-scare by people who are supposed to be supporters of Ambrose in particular and Celtic in general ( some supporters ) .

Don't really want him as a starter but he would be a great 3rd choice centre back for us.

If VVD and Denayer are not here next season I can't see us signing 2 CBs that will slot straight into the 1st team.

    Hope I'm wrong though.

We will agree to disagree mate. I don't see Ambrose game changing much, and I don't think his lapses in concentration will ever leave him.

You could well be right, mate. I have hopes, nothing more.

You can tell he is a conservative full back, doesn't push up high too much unless told to or lack of options on the wing, that was good last night because our midfield was lost at times and Efe covered well.

He really does need to improve on his passing and not be so hesitant, I think then he could be great at CB for us next season. You can tell a difference in his concentration level when he's at full back. Defensively he's great in the air but there was a few times he missed hitting a Celtic player with a header on the wing.
On Sunday against the sheep he was aggressive or might of just been mistiming tackles but he went through a few of them quite well. As you say he is just too nice of a guy.

He had a really good game today, probably our best player in the first half then coped easily in the 2nd.
