    As soon as I witnessed that, i knew we had a player that was gonna claw back the title for us - especially as we had been so weak and lightweight against them in so many months that year.

    * amazing!

    I was the same mate, it was like a clear shift in our attitudes, introducing two absolute * in the midfield. Was brilliant.

    Was leaning over the wall at the tunnel looking for autographs and EFE was the only one from the starting 11 to stop and give me one
    Cheers big man :50:

    Your correct Kieran but he's ruined it for countless people by one selfish action and for that I don't think I will ever forgive him

    Bollocks no player would do that . Every single player in the world would have told his manager he was fine to play . Only person that could have stopped him was Lennon.

    What a stupid remark that is.If anyone was to blame it was our manager he was the one who should have made the call.Celtic would be better without supporters like you.

    Very harsh, guys. He's hardly going to rule himself out of such a huge game. It was up to Lennon to make the decision.

    Some folk need to wake up. Av done it ma self, played games (am no pro like) when a no am hung over etc and sometimes I've been fantastic and others *. Its a risk the manager has to take.

    It is both Lennon's and Ambrose's responsibility. Efe shouldn't have put himself forward if he didn't feel 100%, but then Lennon should have the experience and knowledge to recognise an unprepared player and shouldn't have picked him, especially for such an important game when no player would voluntarily rule themselves out.

    Lennon shouldn't have played him but he also shouldn't have claimed he was ok when he clearly wasn't and that lie he's told for his own selfish reasons really bugs me and I will never forgive him

    Maybe he felt fine when asked and thought he would be able to cope with the game....I'm sure you have all had times like that when tiredness just hits you.

    Sorry to sound like a broken down record, but I must insist that from about the 10th minute (when I was able to finish work and watch the game) to about the 80th he was fantastic. We would not have played half as well without him. His pace (and Wilson's) combined with his composure on the ball meant that Juventus kept giving us the ball back. You put Mulgrew there and they'd have pinged balls into the channel behind him to their striker all night long, allowing them to push up out of their own half. Having played one of the biggest games of his life just two days earlier (followed by a long flight) it is entirely understandable to me that he ran out of gas that last 10 minutes and Juve made him pay. I was mystified as to why he got off to such a shaky start, but I understand he played much of the ACON at full back and wonder if that might explain it. Either way I don't blame Ambrose and I don't even blame Lenny. If he said he felt fine, I believe him. These things happen. My favourite signing of the season too btw.

    Good for big Efe to score again. He could have had 10 goals this season, hopefully goes on a run of scoring now and gets more confident to be more fearless in the air.
