Eduardo's ban overturned!

as for the actual decision. its just sadly obvious to me that just as it has gone before, there is no justice for glasgow celtic. there never has been, and there never will be. its sickening. feels like there isn't anything to do but get used to it.

i know that's what has annoyed me most our player gets sent off for avoiding a tackle .and there player gets a * penalty for blatantly trying to cheat the ref .

but you think while your watching the arsenal game "it's ok UEFA will deal with such a blatant dive afterwards"

What * me off the most is not UEFA but Eduardo and * Wengsucker's attitude. Eduardo knows it was a dive, Wengstroker knows it was a dive and they hide behind the clearly see through glass curtian of uncertainty protesting innocence when infact the reverse is there for all to see, hoping the curtain is a one way pane of glass.

I'm glad their luck ran out at Old Trafford and Wengsyphilis got pumped into the stand for his childish attitude. One minute its ''no he never dived, he is honest'' then a dubious penalty award for Rooney ''he dived''. The * doesnt know his balls from his gootch. Then he gets a cracking OG to rub salt into his wounds.

I'm glad that Adebayor ran the full length of the pitch to stick it to the Arsenal fans.

i suspect that this case has been seriously mishandled by UEFA. Their initial ruling obviously not water tight when it should have been, and arsenal may have been able to overrule some sort of technicality. i wouldnt be surprised if more didn't come out in the coming days over the process of the appeal and the initial decision on the two match ban.

The bloke dived and won his team a penalty, no arguments on that one.

BUT

How many players previously had been given suspensions for similar things?

You either announce during pre-season that suspensions will be handed out, or you reap what you sow and come to the conclusion that you can't really punish a player when the same offence will have no doubt been committed many times by other players without any form of punishment.

Same old FIFA/UEFA - No idea whatsoever.

 

UEFA are a * shambles!!!

 

The main reason why he was gona get suspended was because the ref was conned. If the ref had booked eduardo for diving that was the punishmnet and there would have been no UEFA inrtenvention. This should be the rule whenever it happens, if booked at the time no action but if the officials are fooled then ateast a panel should be looking at the incident

 

Bottled.. totally bottled it.

They knew they'd have to be very strict if they followed through with this and they've taken the easy way out.

Disgraceful.

 

Annoys me even more after watching that GIF! How there can be any dispute as to whether or there was contact is beyond me. Disgraceful!!!

I could care less from the Celtic standpoint. Arsenal won the tie fare and square overall. But Eduardo is a cheat and now a lying one as well. This is pathetic from UEFA. They have now very very publically given the green light for cheating to try and influence the outcome of matches. Shameful.
