The pitch was wet, and he fell, trying to line up a shot. He was never accused of faking a PK in the Croatian league. It wasn't a penalty. But it wasn't a dive, either.

Every single person watching the footage of that incident knows he dived. He wasn't "lining up a shot" because the ball was a good couple of yards in front of him and moving at pace towards the line. He knew he wasn't going to get to the ball so he dived and the second he went down he turned round to see if the ref was going to give him something.

Your posts and attempts at defending the actions of a blatant sheat disgust me. The only thing worse than a cheat is someone who defends a cheat.

No way can you say he slipped. You may be Croatian but he certainly isnt so you dont need to defend him. I love to watch the Croatia NT play. I even own 2 Croatia tops for some reason. I doubt Ivica Olic would have went over because he is an honest player. Eduardo is about as Croatian as Haggis, Neeps and Tatties so you can take the blinkers off mate.

Can't understand why he is defending him, if it was a Scotland player, or a Celtic player for that matter, there is no way I could defend him. He might play for your national side but your supposed to support Celtic.

 

What are you on? he dived to get a penalty he wasnt scoring from that position and did not line up to shoot he took a touch then hit the deck. how the * can you defend such a crime? diving/cheating is the worst crime that is commited on a football pitch and you are actively defending this? how can you call yourself not just a celtic fan but a football fan.

Eduardo has been here since he was 15. He's not selfish, he tracks back when playing for NT, he's got a good heart(he's been around charities in Croatia a lot). He's more of a Croat than Brazilian, now. And as for the incident, I stand by my words:he didn't dive. He slipped on the field, trying to get the ball.
