That's a fair point, but what does this say about our youth set up, the fact that we're paying 3 mil for potential, can we not find similar talent within the ranks of our young guns ?

It does when your not match fit or acclimatised to a windy day away at the hustle and bustle of Dens Park..

It affects your confidence, which then hinders your ability.

    Give the guy a break.

Based on what we've seen of Kouassi so far, which is * all, really, I'd say we do have similar in our youth system.

Right now, he's behind McGregor and Henderson in the pecking order, at least in my opinion. Though I'd expect Kouassi to be better than them both in the long-term.

Don't forget that we've had a lot of academy players in the first team this year. I mentioned Henderson and McGregor, but Forrest and Tierney are regular starters.

Shocked at how bad he was today. It is only his second game though and will take time to adapt.

Genuinely don't think he completed a pass. I could've done what he done today

He was awful today, but I wouldn't right him off.

We all know how this game works, fitness, confidence and just getting settled in can play a huge part.

How many times do we see players who are playing great just lose form for some reason or another. It works the other way as well.

I trust Rodgers and co though so will be waiting until after two 20 minute cameos before making a complete judgement, obviously. Early days is an understatement on this one.

It is worth noting that even our golden boy Tierney couldn't place a 5 yard pass today. Just a pish game all round.

First impressions aren't great but he'll need time before any proper judgement can be made.

Not writing him off just hasn't made a great first impression.

He's taken 8 weeks to get a game and nearly got carded with his first touch of the ball. He made about 5 passes in todays game that went astray.

Did you see the footage of him being sent of for his last team? He was crying and refusing to come of the pitch.

To be a midfielder for celtic, you need to be good. We are supposed to be buying players to improve on what we have. Make an impact on champions league. Suitible replacement for broony as his career will soon end. Not developing players who are uncomfortable with the ball.

If we got him for buttons then it wouldn't be so bad, but we've forked out 3 mil for the guy, here's hopin he turns out to be a player for us.

Needs time to adapt to a new team, culture and way of playing. Once the league is wrapped up should get a run of game
