It looked to me like we were just jogging along in cuise control and content to leave it at that. Normally I would not be bothered as we were never in any danger of not winning and moving onto the Quarter-Finals and sometimes its good to save the legs when you can. But after the week we have had a bit more energy and drive would have been good to see.

I have this awful feeling we're going to lose the league under this guy. We didn't even have a second gear today and it was painful to watch. I really hate to say it but when you watch other teams......even sevco.....they look like they're really trying to win. They go all out not to lose. We don't seem to have that kind of heart in the team. That's what we really have to fear. Shoot me down for saying it but there isn't a huge gulf between us and sevco at present. Only a few individuals out there today really showed anything.

That's a perfectly reasonable assessment from what I've saw.

Agreed. I do find it encouraging though that some of our fans are alive to the danger. We have sleep walked into this mess through denial and it is not too late to fix it. Hopefully the board are listening to the booing and reading opinion on here and actually do something about it.

Most fans are about to fall into the trap... Next season many will queue up and the gloryhunters will return for the Sevco game... They will also be to blame, supporting your team through and through I get especially with celtic however turning up in their thousands next year will please this board.
They have deliberately downsized, so that it will not be forever a one horse race.. Penny pinched and brought in rookies, from manager to players, but they honestly will not give a flying * as the turnstiles will flow again.
So many times over the years I have been disheartened over this club, but what we have become recently is despicable, and it's the boards fault.
A rookie manager and very poor players is what they have created, yet many loyal fans continue to pour hard earned money into the club.
No one can tell you what to do, but honestly think hard about whether you will participate in their masterplan of turning up to see mediocre players and managers all because they decided to sit back and wait on Sevco.

They have no ambition, they don't care about Europe as much and they just want a competitive league which began our downsizing steps.
They had a chance in 2003,they had a chance in 2012...they * it all up.

We are just a mediocre spfl team, and will be for many years now

So the blame lies with them.

Interesting year ahead I just wonder if anyone will actually care now.

Come on to * man, how long are we going to be saying this is a long range project?

I'm sure we'll go on a run row, give me a year, this time next week...

    Enough is e * nough.

The problem is Sean that such posts are based on no more than wishful thinking rather than any grasp of the facts as they stand.

Football is indeed an odd game and who is to say we won't go on a run but like you I'm of the view that enough is enough and to do nothing to address the state we are in will be the biggest failure of all,it's not just knee * reactions to recent results, Deila has been a master of failure, 3 cracks at the CL, not winning one Europa League group game this season is pretty damning and if some are going to ignore those bare facts on the back of a good performance against Ross next Saturday then those particular fans have the board and manager they deserve

Today's match was another reminder of how poor our team is and particularly up front. I hate that 4-4-2 formation. Totally hopeless. Commons and Johansen are missed in a big way for goals.

After watching the game today , i wonder if we will win anything this season. No disrespect to EK but they should have been buried in the first 30 mins. For anyone to say, ..BUT ...they had 11 men behind the ball doesnt wash, as RD should have known that and put a team out that could and should have ripped them apart

I can see the long term project idea taking place

    ????
    Janko Jozo Erik KT
    Brown Henderson
    Christie Rogic Allan
    Griffiths

Thats just potential future team but it looks a good one to me! The thing is though, these players will be here if Ronny is here or not. I think we need someone else to guide the team.

Team is ok but I think it still lacks a couple bits of quality.

I'd honestly be surprised if Henderson was to come back and slot into the side long term.

Christie, Rogic and Allan are all decent players but it's not a frightening trio really, lack of pace there too.

Like you kind of say at the end there, I think we have a decent enough squad but I now have doubts over whether Deila can really get the best out of them quick enough.

We still badly lack some quality in key areas. Elyounoussi should be at the very top of the transfer list come the summer, as should a quality DM.

I've no dounts we'll sign more players over the coming windows that would probably completely change that team. Ajer for example. And hopefully an elyounoussi type like you say. But the foundations are there. Got some very decent players who will only improve with time.

But Aye, I'm not convinced Ronny has what it takes to lead them.

The most disturbing thing about this match is the attitude we showed. This was a perfect opportunity for a lot of players and the manager to get back a small bit of respect. Why the * did they not take it? Ok, if we had won 8-0 people would have said it was expected. But they also would have been talking about the great goals scored by whoever, the slick passing, quick movement, etc etc. Griffiths could have bumped up his goal tally significantly, Richards could have scored a bucketload and said look at me, i'm going to be a great signing. Ambrose could have said, look, i can * defend, Forrest could have said, look, i'm not a * waste of space. And Ronny could have said, yes, i knew they would put 11 men behind the ball, but i got my tactics right and set the team up the right way to win the game comfortably. But THEY DIDNT. Either they werent capable or they are trying to hang the manager, who is doing a good job of it himself. Whatever the answer is it's not good enough for this club. So Ronny, show us some respect and either stand up to the board and demand the players you need and change things, or * off now. And the players, show us some respect and * fight for us out on the pitch, show some * desire and courage and stop checking your hair. I have seen many great Celtic teams and many not so great. But even the not so great ones always had my support because even though they may not have been the most technically gifted or skillfull they had guts and tried their hearts out and fought for each other and the club, and us. This team has no balls. From top to bottom.

The days mulgrew could set up wanyama to score against barca, not struggle to do anything against a non league side.

It says a lot when Ronny Deila's only defence of that performance is to say 'you won't remember East Kilbride if we lift the cup in May'(Aye Ronny, the key word being IF). It was an inexcusably tepid performance and he knows it.
